She proceeds to educate the Americans on respecting cultural differences, suggesting they consult Yashdeep for clarification if needed. In a show of acceptance, Anupama serves food to the reporter and is pleased when they decide to eat using their hands. Leela praises her for promoting Indian traditions, to which Anupama expresses her respect for both countries. Paritosh inquires about the time from the goons, who then mention Pari. Unable to sit still, Paritosh discovers that Pari is nowhere to be found.
With desperation in his voice, he pleads with the goon not to harm his daughter and promises to repay him. Anuj searches for Paritosh and regrets getting angry with him earlier. Expecting Paritosh to work hard, Anuj watches as the goon gives him half an hour to return the money. Memories of Pari flood Paritosh’s mind as he catches sight of the lavish jewelry. Anuj notices Anupama’s hard work and praises her. They share a smile before being interrupted by Vanraj.
Meanwhile, Anuj receives a call from Aadhya and assures her to stay calm. Aadhya expresses concern for Shruti who had an emotional breakdown and eventually fell. Anuj reassures Aadhya and she insists on his return to India. After being asked to open the locker, Paritosh recalls a threat from Ron and notices the jewelry. Without hesitation, he decides to take it and conceals the diamond in Anupama’s bag. When confronted by Anupama about his actions, Paritosh explains that he was simply hungry and came to her stall for food.
Touched by his tears, Anupama apologizes for doubting him and praises his hard work. Overcome with emotion, Paritosh asks for forgiveness and quickly comes up with an excuse. He slyly plans to hide the diamond in Anupama’s bag since it won’t be scrutinized. However, before he can carry out his plan, the alarm goes off. At the event, the police instruct everyone to gather together with their bags and belongings. Vanraj inquires as to the reason for this gathering but is interrupted by the officer who reveals that a diamond jewelry piece has gone missing. Anupama immediately becomes anxious, fearing that her son Paritosh may have been given the responsibility for it by Anuj.
Paritosh contemplates hiding the diamond in his mother’s bag while Anuj reassures the owner that he will be able to retrieve it. While Leela and Kinjal discuss the diamond, Anupama and Vanraj wish that their son was not involved in such a crime. Paritosh grows increasingly worried as Anupama’s belongings are checked, but she is eventually cleared. However, as a precaution, the officer decides to search through her bag once more and makes a shocking discovery – the missing diamond. All present are stunned, especially Anupama, who now faces arrest at the officer’s orders.
