Kavya 19th March 2024 Written Update Kavya’s firm stand. Alka experiences stomach cramps, and is attended by Malini. Kavya offers to assist Alka, suggesting she drink some water. However, Alka rejects the water and Malini asks Kavya to leave. Adi escorts Kavya out as she insists on her innocence in Omi’s death and willingness to help Alka. Later, in court, Kavya announces her decision to dismiss her lawyer and requests for bail. Adi presents a recorded confession from Kavya, but she claims it was manipulated by someone else. She brings forth evidence from Sanjeev Varma to support her claim that the recording was part of a trap set by the prosecution. The judge grants bail, giving time for proper evidence to be presented in court. Kavya smiles confidently at this outcome. As Adi steps outside, Sanjeev requests for a hug. Adi halts him, labeling him as a traitor.
Sanjeev defends himself saying that he is aiding Kavya because she holds the same position in his life as Adi does. Adi refutes by stating that they are no longer united; commanding Sanjeev to leave. Observing from afar, Kavya follows Adi to his car and pleads to be taken along. Adi once again orders her to alight from the vehicle. He opens the door and pushes her away, but she clings onto him. She insists on being innocent and accuses Adi of lying to frame her. He retorts that she has also deceived him and warns her that he will ensure she gets punished. Determined to prove herself innocent, Kavya challenges him to let the judge decide their fate. Defeated, but firm in his belief, Adi declares that he would rather become someone Kavya despises than be hers.
Resignedly, Kavya exits the car and watches as Adi drives away. Rajeev arrives home with disappointing news – his employer didn’t agree to his terms and he is being forced to take a transfer or risk losing his job. Anjali suggests that he quit, but Rajeev raises concerns about running their household without a steady income. Mayank steps in and offers to work and support the family, drawing inspiration from Kavya who is also fighting her battles alone. Anjali agrees that they should support Kavya and fight together. Rajeev commends Mayank’s maturity and embraces him, stating that he has learned this resilience from his father.
Anjali offers to make tea, but discovers there is no water. Giriraj boasts about making their enemies suffer for water, but Badi Amma dismisses his threats. She assigns Anurag a task and goes to check on Alka who is cooking while grieving over Omi’s death. Badi Amma criticizes Alka for wanting to celebrate Holi amidst her sorrow, but Kavya defends her right to do so by insisting she wants to honor Omi’s memory by making gujiya (traditional sweet). Badi Amma throws things in frustration, but Kavya stands her ground. Adi checks in with Badi Amma, asking if she is prepared for Holika Dahan. She replies that it is the day for evil people to meet their end, and inquires if he will be taking Kavya along.
Adi responds that only the immediate family will be present. However, Giriraj disagrees and believes everyone should attend. Adi agrees but reminds them of Kavya’s illness. Kavya interjects that she is not sick, but Adi insists she take some rest at home. He then asks about Anurag’s whereabouts, to which Giriraj replies that he will join them directly there. Mayank runs into a friend who happens to mention that Anurag is also present. Spotting him, Mayank expresses his reluctance to engage in conversation. Anurag then urges him to sit down and have a chat. Playing the innocent card, he brings up the news of Mayank’s father’s transfer and resignation. Shocked by this revelation, Mayank voices his disbelief at how low Giriraj would stoop.
Despite Anurag’s persuasive words, Mayank stands firm in his decision not to get involved. However, Anurag reveals some distressing information about Kavya being targeted by Giriraj and Adi, leading Mayank to reconsider his stance as he realizes he may be the only one able to help his parents in this situation. Anurag leaves him with some money before departing. Meanwhile, Alka suddenly goes into labor and Kavya rushes her to the hospital in their car which unfortunately breaks down along the way. Desperate for help, Kavya tries calling Adi but receives no response. She pleads with a passerby for their phone and finally manages to get through to Adi’s line, explaining their dire situation and reminding him of her promise to save Omi’s child. Adi doesn’t believe Kavya.
