She expresses her love for her parents and emphasizes that she cannot bear to lose them. Anupama is left speechless. Leela asks Shruti to leave while also advising Anuj to move on with his life. Shruti inquires if Anupama has no words of congratulations for her. Despite their troubled past, Anupama wishes Shruti and Anuj well. As they share cake, memories resurface for Anuj which causes him discomfort. In contrast, Anupama breaks down in tears. Observing this, Yashdeep empathizes with her and offers comfort.
Biji is informed that Yashdeep will have to close down their restaurant due to a loan taken by Yashpal. Yashdeep faces a tough decision as the business has been suffering financial losses. He doesn’t want to lose Anupama by shutting down the restaurant. In their conversation, Anupama proposes a brilliant business idea to revive the restaurant’s success – hosting a Holi event to attract customers and regain its popularity. Meanwhile, Kinjal decides to return to India with Pari. Anupama then asks Vanraj to contact Paritosh. However, Vanraj states that he will only do so if Anupama drops the case against him first. Anupama tells Yashdeep that she has to go to the dance class. He offers her help. She says that she wants to go alone. He feels sorry that this happened on her birthday. She says that everyone gave her gifts, so her fate had to give her some gifts. She is grateful for his efforts to host the surprise birthday party. She goes. Yashdeep sees the wedding card. He wants to know why Anuj and Shruti spoiled Anupama’s day. Vanraj gets the news of Anuj’s wedding invite. He knows Anupama will never forget this birthday. Leela says that Anuj didn’t stop Shruti. Kinjal says that Anuj had no idea about Shruti’s move.
Vanraj tells them that Anuj has done this deliberately, he has gotten off Anupama’s love and finally knows her real status. He adds that Anuj and Anupama have no match. He says that Anupama wanted to become Anuj’s wife, but Anuj has shown her the right place. He pities Anupama. He hopes she gets to understand her reality. Anupama walks on the road and recalls Anuj and Shruti’s words. Yashdeep follows Anupama. He finds her lost. He tells her that he will accompany her and meet Diya. Leela feels Anupama had a good fate, but she lost everything because of her actions. She misjudges Anupama. Vanraj says that Anupama got herself insulted. Kinjal asks them to stop blaming Anupama. She says that Vanraj cheated on Anupama and Leela has made her life hell. Vanraj says that Anupama left him for Anuj.
Kinjal reminds that Anupama left him because of his wrong actions. She blames Vanraj for his affair that led to the breakup. Vanraj asks Kinjal to remember she is speaking to elders. She asks them to remember that they have cheap thinking. She taunts that even Vanraj isn’t able to keep his second marriage. She asks them not to respect Anupama if they can’t. She asks them to stop insulting her. Vanraj asks her to make some tea for them. Leela goes to make tea. Kinjal asks him about Paritosh. She says that Paritosh can’t be saved from the police. He admits that he knows about Paritosh, but he won’t tell the truth to anyone. He wants Anupama to drop the case. Kinjal doesn’t want to live in fear.
She tells that she will take Pari to India if Paritosh doesn’t come back. She knows Vanraj is protecting his son. She doesn’t want to manage things alone. She clears that she will not compromise on Pari’s life. She doesn’t want to forgive Paritosh. She threatens to punish Paritosh. Vanraj grows worried when he receives a call from Paritosh. Anupama teaches dance to the kids. She feels better while dancing. Yashdeep smiles seeing her gather herself after breaking down. He tells Diya that men are fools to regard women as weak but women are habitual to fight and win. He praises Anupama, who handles every storm with grace.
Anupama dances her heart out and cries. Diya tells Yashdeep that a person can’t live without two things. He says that it’s water and oxygen. She says that she is speaking about God and friends. She calls him Anupama’s good friend. He says that he will always be Anupama’s friend. Anupama loses control of herself when she thinks of Anuj. Yashdeep grows concerned. He promises to always stand by Anupama. Vanraj speaks to Pakhi and Hasmukh. Leela asks them to check the house well before leaving for the airport. Vanraj speaks to Kavya. Kavya says that she will meet Anupama and Paritosh. Vanraj asks her to check her passport and documents well. Leela finds him upset. He asks Leela to let him decide about Kavya.
Hasmukh asks Kavya to be happy. Dimpy informs Titu that they are also going to the US. Pakhi checks Titu’s reply on Anupama’s phone and gets jealous. Yashdeep drops Anupama home. She apologizes to him. He asks her not to be sorry. Anuj reaches there to meet Anupama. Yashdeep asks Anuj if he has to give another invite. Anuj says no. He asks Yashdeep not to worry. Anupama agrees to talk to Anuj. Yashdeep leaves them alone. Anuj tells Anupama that he wanted to tell her, but couldn’t. He adds that he came to the US with little Anu thinking of ending her pain. He regrets that he was wrong and couldn’t handle Aadhya’s sorrow.
He reveals how Shruti entered their lives four years back and handled everything. He says that Shruti had taken care of Aadhya’s sorrow, panic attacks, loneliness, and pain, Shruti took Aadhya’s responsibility as a mother and friend. He adds that Aadhya is okay today only because of Shruti. He knows Shruti loves him and it’s one-sided, he knows her pain well because even his love is one-sided. He says that he told his past to Shruti, and she still accepted him. He wants to give Shruti what she deserves. He says that he felt inclined to Anupama after meeting her in the US. He admits that he wanted to reconcile with Anupama. His heart longs for Anupama. He assures that Shruti can never take Anupama’s place.
He pities Shruti who is slipping into depression after losing her parents. He wants to support Shruti in her time of need. He justifies his wedding decision. He says that he isn’t selfish enough to think about himself and get back to Anupama. He shares his feelings with her. They weep. He is marrying Shruti because Aadhya loves her a lot and is emotionally attached to her. He says that Shruti is important to Aadhya and him. Anupama asks him if he loves Shruti. He laughs at her silly question. He says that Shruti is his best friend, he respects her but doesn’t love her. Anupama knew that he could never love someone else.
She realizes the sacrifice he is making for Shruti and Aadhya’s sake. She asks him to think of his life and happiness. She says that she is also happy in her life. She wants him to move on with all his heart. She urges him to stick to his decision and doesn’t look back. She turns emotional. She regrets that Anuj couldn’t stay happy with her. She wishes he stays happy with Shruti. She is hopeful that he will fall in love with Shruti.
