Jhanak 23rd March 2024 Written Update Anirudh’s feelings. Bipasha and Mimi address Jhanak as a “heroine”. However, Jhanak clarifies that her name is Jhanak, not heroine and she is unsure of how to respond. In response, Bipasha reprimands her. Just then, Tanuja appears and inquires about the commotion. Bipasha complains that Jhanak is causing a disturbance. Tanuja then asks why Jhanak is present there. She scolds Jhanak, who retorts back saying it’s best if they don’t speak to each other. Tanuja then rebukes her and Jhanak explains that she never wanted to marry Anirudh, but was brought home by them. She states that she has no time for arguments and Tanuja tells her to just focus on her work instead.

Tanuja also asks about Anjana’s whereabouts. Bipasha suggests that she may have visited the temple. Tanuja reminds Jhanak of her responsibility to make breakfast and mentions their plans to spend a large amount on her wedding, prompting the question of what she will give in return. Bipasha confirms that they have 7 lakhs to spend. Tanuja then points out that Jhanak has no other family besides Anirudh and themselves, after her mother’s passing. Choton enters the scene. Bipasha assures Jhanak that they are like family to her. Rumi adds that Jhanak must also gift them clothes. Tanuja requests a trip to the store to purchase sarees.

However, Jhanak explains that she does not have cash as Anirudh has invested in an FD on her behalf. In response, Bipasha offers to take Jhanak to the bank and advises her to collect the necessary documents from Anirudh. Choton privately thinks that Bipasha intends to use Jhanak’s earnings for their benefit. Mimi expresses interest in a Kanjivaram saree and is told she can choose anything she likes by Jhanak. Tanuja silently vows to change Jhanak’s attitude while Bipasha instructs her.

Tanuja berates Jhanak for supposedly causing Anirudh’s marriage to crumble, stating that Jhanak only has wealth because of him. She insensitively brings up Jhanak’s lack of a father and asks if she even knows his name. Choton is taken aback by her questions, to which Tanuja responds by telling him to be quiet. She proceeds to shamelessly question why Jhanak’s father never accepted her mother and herself, even implying that her mother may have left for money from another man. As Jhanak tries to defend her mother, Tanuja insults Choton as well, leaving both of them in tears. Tanuja then demands that Choton fix her sandal and drops it on the ground for him to retrieve.

However, Jhanak refuses to let him go and instead insists on going herself. Tanuja becomes furious and threatens to kick her out of the house, claiming that she is overstepping her boundaries. But Jhanak stands firm and declares that Choton will not go down this path of self-degradation. This infuriates Tanuja further who reminds Jhanak that she is nothing but a maid in their household and accuses her of trapping Anirudh.

Anirudh meets Jhanak. Despite her resistance, he urges her to listen. Meanwhile, Shrishti approaches Vinayak with news of Arshi’s infatuation with Anirudh. Arshi receives a call from Bipasha, asking about her availability for the day’s events. Arshi replies that she must accompany her mother somewhere and Bipasha mentions the upcoming pujas and Holi celebrations, inviting Shrishti who is busy planning something grand. Anirudh then clarifies that his intention in bringing Arshi here was not to make her a servant or attend to his mother’s footwear but to commend her for maintaining Choton’s respect. She retorts by claiming she is merely a maid and thus always speaks out, leading him to correct that she did not say anything that would warrant reprimanding.

In fact, he rescued her primarily for safety from Tejas as well as pursuing education and opportunities that are aligned with her potential and natural talent; however, he cannot disclose his complete intentions yet due to unforeseen circumstances. Vinayak mentions that Anirudh will be going abroad, and suggests calling to express congratulations. Shrishti expresses uncertainty about the news, mentioning Anirudh’s plans to inform Arshi. Vinayak defends Anirudh’s trustworthiness and loyalty towards Arshi, stating that he has made difficult choices in the past without abandoning her.

Shrishti acknowledges this, noting that there must be a reason why both Arshi and Vinayak side with him. Anirudh speaks highly of himself, asserting that he is a kind-hearted person who cares deeply for Arshi. Despite this, Shrishti voices concern for Arshi’s well-being. Anirudh then advises Jhanak to confront their father on behalf of their mother, which triggers a defensive response from Jhanak who warns him not to speak ill of their mother. Sensing the tension, he apologizes but Jhanak dismisses his apology by reminding him of his role as a servant in their household. He clarifies his intention of guiding her and urges her to steer clear of any complications and focus on her own life.

Jhanak understands his concerns but asks if she can leave now before anyone sees them together. Anirudh inquires of Jhanak whether she believes Shrishti will be able to find a suitable partner for her. He offers his assistance, stating that once she becomes independent, she will have the freedom to pursue whatever she desires. Jhanak expresses gratitude but insists he not go out of his way. She reminds him of their previous conversation where he called her crazy. Anirudh tells her there is no need for an argument and assures her that he won’t allow her to spend money on expensive sarees. However, Jhanak asserts that it ultimately remains her decision. Anirudh reiterates that it is not a request but rather an order, as he does not wish for her hard-earned money to be spent on his family.
