Jhanak 24th March 2024 Written Update Jhanak’s groom. Jhanak is determined to purchase gifts for others, despite Choton’s disapproval of Bipasha’s scheme. However, Jhanak insists that she has no interest in using her own money. Tanuja becomes angry and insults Jhanak’s mother for her alleged lack of integrity. Jhanak stands up for herself and silences Tanuja. Choton intervenes but is confronted by Tanuja who points out that Shubh has funded his lifestyle. To further humiliate him, Tanuja asks Choton to fix a torn sandal and go to the market. While Jhanak retrieves the sandal, Choton begrudgingly follows Tanuja’s commands after being insulted. Anirudh is informed of the incident and discusses it with Jhanak.
He advises her not to blindly follow the orders of the elders, as she is a maid in the house. However, Jhanak argues that it is her role to perform such tasks. Anirudh does not want Jhanak to waste her potential and reminds her of her talent to stand on her own. He attempts to motivate her and encourages her to pursue her dreams. Despite his efforts, their disagreement continues and Anirudh starts to feel hopeless. He chooses not to disclose that Jhanak’s father is also a renowned dancer, hoping that this will ignite her determination even further. He urges Jhanak to fulfill the aspirations of her late mother Urvashi.
Jhanak clarifies that she never wanted to be involved in their family drama, but she feels obligated due to being forced into menial jobs by them. Anirudh, being the authoritarian figure that he is, prohibits Jhanak from using the funds on his family members. He insists that she adhere to his every word for her to regain her footing in life. Despite Jhanak’s assertion that she can use her own money however she pleases, Anirudh strongly advises against it. To everyone’s surprise, Shrishti announces Jhanak’s impending marriage with Tejas. Jhanak 24th March 2024 Written Update Jhanak’s groom:
Arshi tells Shrishti that Bipasha had informed her about the surprise she had planned for Anirudh’s family and that she wanted to know more about the gift. Shrishti assures her that she will be impressed when she sees the gift and teases her by saying there will be a big blast soon. Arshi thanks Shrishti and praises her, calling her the best. As Arshi leaves, Shrishti reminds herself that she will always protect Arshi from Jhanak who is dangerous, assuring her that nobody can harm her. Meanwhile, Jhanak is engrossed in making a beautiful Rangoli when Appu comes to play Holi with her. He expresses his disappointment at Jhanak’s fame and refuses to talk to her.
Jhanak explains that she doesn’t want to dance as it may anger some people but Appu encourages her by saying even he can sing despite not being very talented. He compliments Jhanak and asks her to dance with him but she declines, stating that she cannot fulfill his wish. This upsets Appu and he accuses Jhanak of becoming mean before storming off, leaving Jhanak focused on her work. Appu mentions that Rumi and Mimi’s friends have arrived and would like to dance. Arshi and Shrishti are coming along with them, but Arshi seems to be envious of you as she knows you’re a better dancer. Dadu and Dadi are happy with the arrangements and bless Rumi and Mimi. Arshi, Shrishti, and Vinayak arrive. Shrishti requests Shubh to bring some thandai from their car. To which, Shubh asks Lal to get it instead.
Bablu and Anjana then join in and greet the elders, followed by Choton, Anirudh, Arshi, and the rest of the guests. While wishing Anirudh, Arshi informs him about the special thandai that should be handled with care according to Lal. Anirudh agrees that it is delicious indeed. As they all engage in conversation, Bablu asks Rumi and Mimi about their upcoming performance while Appu volunteers to sing for them today. When asked who will dance to her song, Appu replies sarcastically saying neither Shrishti nor her daughter will dance anyway. This leads Anjana to reprimand Appu’s lack of manners.
Shubh states that Anjana did not teach manners to Appu, which Choton defends by saying there would be a problem if they spoke their thoughts. Appu is aware that Arshi will not dance to anyone’s song, so she wants to keep the dancer’s name a secret, possibly Rumi or Mimi’s friend. Shrishti voices her indifference towards the matter. Meanwhile, Anirudh notices Jhanak and Bablu remarks that they have no expectations from Shrishti as she is a big person who won’t think for Appu. Dadi suggests forgetting about it. Appu declares her intention to stay with Jhanak and the latter tells her to calm down. Shubh comments on how happy the kids look today while Vinayak expresses concern about them drinking too much thandai.
Bipasha asks Shrishti about special thandai, to which she replies that she will get it at the right time and they plan to feed it to Jhanak. However, Shrishti reassures them that nothing will happen as people often lose their senses after drinking thandai but Jhanak has a big opportunity with her ad being on TV and hoardings. Arshi arrives and Shrishti immediately directs the conversation towards Jhanak. Bipasha chimes in, stating their determination to not let Jhanak succeed in her efforts to save herself. Arshi comments that she is aware Anirudh attended the event for Jhanak and not for her. Shrishti adds that their ultimate goal is to find a suitable marriage for Jhanak and send her away. With this thought in mind, Arshi decides to perform on Rumi and Mimi’s song and leaves.
Shrishti then praises Arshi’s innocence while Bipasha suggests keeping this plan a secret from everyone except Tanuja, who happens to enter at that moment. Tanuja assures them of their attempts to resolve the situation, but they express concerns about Anirudh’s feelings for Jhanak. Tanuja reassures them that once Jhanak leaves, Anirudh will eventually forget about her. Bipasha points out a special item they have prepared for Jhanak and they all tease her when she enters the room. As everyone joins in dancing, Jhanak watches with a smile on her face. Anirudh’s attention is captured by Jhanak as Arshi notices his lackluster dancing. She questions him on his performance, to which he admits feeling nervous because of her being his partner. Arshi wonders if there are any other reasons for his unease, but he assures her there are not.
Dadu then requests a Bengali song and Rumi and Mimi oblige, leading the ladies to join in dancing. Dadi then invites everyone to partake in prasad. Shrishti declines, stating she does not perform in gardens owned by someone else. Vinayak reminds her that they are all family here. Anirudh returns and informs Shrishti that the media is present to see Arshi’s performance, but she refuses to dance in their garden. He tries to convince her otherwise, pointing out that it is her future daughter-in-law’s home and that they are all family. However, Shrishti remains firm in her decision. Appu offers to sing instead and Anirudh readily agrees before announcing that Jhanak will dance to Appu’s song.
