Jhanak 1st April 2024 Written Update Thorny budge. Anirudh grows concerned for Jhanak when he finds Shrishti making a wrong selection for Jhanak’s future. Shrishti gets a guy home and introduces him to the Bose family. The guy depicts Tejas’ personality. She plans to replace the fake groom with Tejas in the mandap. She chooses a person with a similar appearance to deceive Jhanak and Anirudh. The man behaves like Tejas and boasts of his richness to please the family. Shubh asks him about the marriage date. The man shows his eagerness for marriage. Jhanak is introduced to the man, who doesn’t appear suitable for her. She is stunned but keeps silent. Shubh says that they have no issue with Shrishti’s choice. He asks Jhanak about her consent. Jhanak agrees to marry anyone selected by Shrishti.

She intends to leave the Bose house as soon as possible. Shrishti says that they will keep the marriage in the coming week. The man agrees to marry Jhanak. Anirudh walks in only to find Jhanak giving up on her dreams by blindly obeying the family. He doesn’t want her to lose her identity. Arshi tells him that it’s good news, as Jhanak’s marriage got fixed. She adds that Jhanak has chosen the man by her will. As seen before, Choton inquires about the man’s profession, to which Shrishti responds that he isn’t like idle Choton. Anirudh asks if she will explain it to him now. She clarifies that he runs a business but she doesn’t have specific details and adds that Jhanak is fortunate. Bipasha comments that Anirudh and Arshi’s wedding will take place after their marriage, as she came in between them. Anjana tells Jhanak that she wants her to be happy and urges her to think carefully and converse with him before making any decision. Tanuja is puzzled and asks what she means by this since Shrishti has found a suitable match for him. Shrishti jests that anyone she finds would surely earn more than Tanuja’s husband. Anjana reminds her that a person’s success does not solely depend on their income. This sparks an argument between Anirudh and Shrishti, leaving him upset.

Anirudh asks Jhanak to take rest. He tells them that he will take her to her room. Arshi stops him and tells him that she will take Jhanak. She drops Jhanak. Jhanak thanks her. Anirudh sends Choton there. Arshi instructs Jhanak to get married soon and leave the Bose house. Choton asks Arshi to be considerate about Jhanak’s health. Arshi doesn’t care. Jhanak asks Arshi not to worry. She assures that she will marry anyone and leave at the earliest. She says that she has no intention to come between Anirudh and Arshi. She asks Arshi to trust her. Arshi wishes they met in a different situation. She asks Jhanak who forced her to drink the thandai. Jhanak says that she doesn’t want to blame anyone. Arshi asks her to share it.

Jhanak says that she doesn’t have any proof, if she mentions someone’s name, then she will get rebuked. Arshi asks Jhanak to remember her word and leave the house when she finds someone suitable for marriage. Jhanak agrees. Arshi goes away. Choton asks Jhanak if she will leave them and go. Jhanak says that she will stay connected. Choton weeps emotionally. Jhanak knows that Choton is feeling bad. She regards Anirudh and Choton as her strength. She asks Choton not to cry and let her go away. Choton says that he doesn’t have a big house, but a big heart, and he will always love her. He doesn’t want to see her in trouble. He asks her to take a rest. He tells her that he has to earn money and needs to go to sell the books.

He adds that he will be back in the evening. Jhanak remembers Bipasha forcing her to drink thandai. She also remembers her moment with Anirudh. Bipasha informs Shrishti that Jhanak is taking a rest. Shrishti asks if anyone doubts about Jhanak. Bipasha says that nobody got to know about it. She jokes that the dose got less. Shrishti says that if the dose was high, then the entire Bose family would have been jailed. She gives the good news that the guy is coming to meet Jhanak today. Bipasha wants to send off Jhanak forever. Shrishti asks her to give the good news to everyone in the house.

Anirudh meets Jhanak. He asks her if she is feeling better. She asks him not to trouble her more. He tells her that she will get married and go away. She says that even he is desperate to marry Arshi. He says that being in her place, she should focus on becoming independent. He adds that he agreed because the right marriage can make her life better. She asks him if he owns her life to decide everything. They blame each other for insulting remarks.
