Kumkum Bhagya 8th April 2024 Written Update Desperation. The lives of Ranbir and Prachi have become more complicated as they are close, especially with Ranbir sitting in the mandap with Trishna. As their wedding rituals begin, Prachi’s hand accidentally touches Ranbir, causing him to recognize her touch. He immediately stops the wedding with Trishna. Overcome with emotion, he hastily leaves the mandap. In his pursuit of Prachi, Ranbir’s gathbandhan with Trishna catches fire. Trishna gets worried and reminds Ranbir of his promise to never abandon her for anyone’s sake. Ranbir loses his heart to Prachi once again.
How will this turn of events affect the future of Ranbir, Prachi, and Trishna? On the other hand, Monisha tells Dipika that Harleen believes damaging Purvi’s reputation will also ruin theirs. She adds that she no longer cares about the consequences. Meanwhile, Khushi compliments Purvi for having a wonderful husband like RV, which makes her happy. Unbeknownst to them, RV overhears their conversation. Monisha then holds a drug in her hand and silently warns Purvi that she has no idea what is coming next. What lies ahead? As Rishi and Lakshmi’s story unfolds in Gurdaspur, Rishi finds himself in trouble after attempting to save both himself and Lakshmi. Harleen reprimands Monisha and Dipika for their actions, warning them not to tarnish Purvi’s reputation. She reminds them that it reflects poorly on the entire family, especially since Purvi’s family took on the responsibility of catering the wedding. Harleen stresses the seriousness of the situation and leaves. Monisha is reminded of Harleen’s threat and is determined to ruin Purvi’s reputation. She confides in Dipika, stating that all the wedding guests will fall ill from Prachi’s cooking. Despite Dipika’s advice against it, Monisha refuses to listen.
Monisha calls the guy and asks if he’s following through with her request. Prachi then approaches and inquires if Monisha needs anything. Monisha declines and thanks Prachi, who then leaves. Vaishali questions Monisha if she feels remorseful. Monisha admits that Prachi is kind, but she feels compelled to take action due to Purvi’s devious actions. Khushi turns to Purvi and asks if she’s content with the wedding arrangements. Confused, Purvi asks why Khushi is suddenly asking this. Khushi explains that some people lie and pretend everything is fine when it isn’t. Purvi assures Khushi that RV genuinely cares for her, and she’s happy to be his wife. Pleased, Khushi expresses her happiness for Purvi.
Meanwhile, RV overhears their conversation and silently wishes for Khushi to suffer instead of being happy for Purvi. RV checks on Purvi’s well-being, to which she confirms she is doing fine. As Purvi departs, Khushi expresses her gratitude towards RV for not causing harm to Purvi. However, RV scoffs at Khushi’s naivety for believing Purvi’s deceitful words and reveals that Purvi is actually facing difficulties at his home. After RV exits, Khushi becomes concerned about the impact of RV’s words on Purvi. Elsewhere, Krishna asks Trishna if she understands the significance of their upcoming marriage, to which Trishna confidently responds that they will soon be united as husband and wife.
Later on, Trishna envisions a bright future following their marriage. Monisha takes the packet from the driver and dismisses him. She expects Purvi to be surprised by what happens next. The Pandit requests some ghee, so Diya asks RV and Purvi to dance before it arrives. Khushi becomes upset when she sees their performance and stops the music. One of Amar Dayal’s men accidentally knocks over a pillar in the canopy. He apologizes and Amar Dayal instructs his men to carry out their task once Trishna exits the canopy.
Prachi, Khushi, and Purvi attempt to fix the fallen pillar. Krishna tries to catch a glimpse of Prachi upon hearing her voice, but he is unable to see her face. As RV undoes their alliance, Trishna requests Krishna to go and remove a stain on his clothing. Agreeing to her request, Krishna departs from the area. Meanwhile, Prachi notices that Trishna’s dress has caught fire and quickly puts out the flames. Vaishali then takes Prachi away from the scene. RV attempts to assist Purvi but she declines his offer, causing him to drop the heavy object he had lifted.
Witnessing this, Khushi believes that RV is speaking the truth and that Purvi is unhappy in their household. Dadaji arrives and questions RV about his behavior towards Purvi, but Hermal interrupts before he can respond. RV leaves the conversation and walks away. Later on, Armaan informs RV that Khushi acts strangely whenever he is around and claims that she dislikes him. In response, RV states that he does not care about Khushi’s feelings towards him.
