Jhanak 13th April 2024 Written Update Jhanak stuns. At Jhanak’s engagement ceremony with her fiance, Shrishti and Tanuja present her with some extravagant jewelry, while Choton bestows upon her a wristwatch as a blessing. The overwhelming love and kindness shown towards Jhanak brings tears to her eyes. As Choton urges Anirudh to bless Jhanak, he hesitates, causing Shrishti to suggest that Avinash be the first to do so. This irritates Jhanak greatly. After completing the ritual, she is asked to touch her fiance’s feet, but she doesn’t even look at him and instead greets him with folded hands.
Jhanak pays respect to Anirudh:
Upon receiving the auspicious flowers from Anirudh, Jhanak feels incredibly blessed by his love. She respectfully touches his feet and bows down before him. As she does so, a sense of overwhelming emotion comes over her. Anirudh too breaks down. Choton, Bablu, Anjana, Appu and Dadu also feel Jhanak’s emotions and weep. Anirudh gently places his hands on her head, causing Jhanak to break down in tears. Appu empathizes with Jhanak’s state and pleads for her to call off the marriage. She also urges Anirudh to stop the marriage. Anirudh is in pain too. Later on, the haldi ceremony for Jhanak begins. Despite feeling immense pain, Anirudh is unsure of the cause. Choton notices this and asks if anything is wrong.
Anirudh yearns for Jhanak:
Anirudh shares his uneasiness about Jhanak’s safety, worried that Tejas may harm her. However, Choton suspects there may be more to it, speculating that Anirudh has developed feelings for Jhanak but is afraid to confront them. Choton asks Anirudh if he is feeling bad in his heart. Anirudh refuses. He says that he is happy for Jhanak, and wants her to move on in her life. As the haldi commences, Choton encourages Anirudh to join in but he declines, still grappling with his inner turmoil. Choton understands the internal conflict Anirudh is facing. He wishes Anirudh realizes his true feelings for Jhanak and takes a step to stop the marriage. At Choton’s request, Anirudh decides to attend the Haldi celebration.
As Arshi, Bipasha, Mimi, and Rumi begin dancing and having a good time, Appu finds it difficult to enjoy herself. Her thoughts of Jhanak leaving the next day make it hard for her to control her emotions. She then asks Arshi if she will truly be happy once Jhanak is gone. This angers Arshi and she scolds Appu for her question. This shocks Anirudh. As Jhanak enters Anirudh’s room, she requests his blessings and humbly touches his feet. Anirudh gazes at her and gets emotional. Just then, Arshi joins them and reveals that Jhanak may have to depart the city by nightfall.
