GHKKPM 20th April 2024 Written Update Ishaan’s confession. Yashwant forcefully brings Chinmay to his office and physically attacks him for superimposing his face on the image of Ravan. Chinmay explains that he only did it as a joke. As their family members rush in, they witness Yashwant’s violent behavior towards Chinmay. Remembering how Yashwant used to punish him during their childhood, Chinmay questions if he is going to repeat the same now. Ignoring Chinmay’s words, Yashwant continues to hit him and even grabs a chair to strike him with it. Surekha intervenes and begs Yashwant to stop. Nishi suggests taking the matter home and discussing it calmly.
Chinmay has decided to claim both his land and divorce from Shikha, much to the surprise of his family. Asmita reminds him that Shikha has made many sacrifices while waiting for him, such as fasting for his well-being and eagerly waiting at the door during festivals. Surekha also points out that he is already married to Shikha and cannot simply divorce her. Chinmay explains that it was Shikha’s idea, with the condition being that she would only agree to divorce him if he stayed in the Bhosale house for a month.
Ishaan asks Chinmay why he is doing all this, to which he replies that it is for fun. Yashwant declares that he will not give anything to Chinmay. Confused, Ishaan asks what this means, and Chinmay clarifies that their grandfather had transferred a piece of land in his name but now Yashwant refuses to return it. In a fit of rage, Yashwant yells that he will never give anything to Chinmay.
Chinmay inquires about Yashwant’s father’s charitable acts, but Yashwant is unwilling to share anything with him. In an attempt to manipulate Yashwant, Chinmay demands his property share and insults him as a coward. Ishaan becomes angry and Chinmay exits the room. Curiously, Ishaan asks Yashwant what was discussed between them, but Yashwant assures him he will explain later. He then delegates the task of managing the audience to Ishaan and reminds their family members to act normally in front of them.
GHKKPM 20th April 2024 Written Update Ishaan’s confession:
Shikha inquiring why Chinmay is punishing her for something his parents did. But instead of responding, Chinmay simply walks away. Determined to get answers, Savi observes a girl embracing Chinmay, who then sobs on his shoulder. The girl’s father intervenes. However, Chinmay fights back and protects the girl from her father, who was attempting to sell her. After the altercation, Chinmay consoles the girl and promises to transfer money to her account for college fees. Witnessing this, Savi ponders on Chinmay’s true character- he went above and beyond for a stranger but treats his own family as enemies. Later, Reeva remarks ironically to Ishaan that she couldn’t even marry him in the play they were in together. She then urges Ishaan to drop the subject and they discuss Savi’s unusual behavior instead.
Yashwant drinks alcohol while pondering over recent events. He then requests Nishikant to open the group chat and share what others are saying about him. Nishikant agrees and plays an audio recording for Yashwant. In the recording, members of the WhatsApp group criticize him for his son’s actions causing harm to the Bhosle Institute’s reputation. Yashwant admits that their comments are justified and blames Surekha for introducing Chinmay into their household, ultimately leading to their family’s ruined reputation. Ishaan apologizes to Shikha on behalf of Chinmay’s behavior. He suggests that if Shikha feels the need to do so, she should consider divorcing Chinmay. However, Savi disagrees and debates with Ishaan, expressing that Shikha should fight for her love. Ishaan reminds Savi of Chinmay’s unkind actions towards Shikha.
Savi believes it is Shikha’s decision whether or not to divorce Chinmay and shouldn’t be pressured by anyone. Surekha then enters and reprimands Savi, blaming her for bringing Chinmay into the house and causing unhappiness among everyone. She curses Savi, predicting a miserable life for her. As Surekha leaves, Ishaan points out to Savi that this is the result of interfering in others’ lives. Feeling hurt, Savi questions if she is truly as terrible as Surekha’s curse implies. Shikha reassures her that she has a pure heart but is consumed with her own troubles and cannot speak up for herself or others at the moment. Savi recalls seeing a brochure for Dehradun developers in Chinmay’s bag.
She learns that Chinmay Bhosle is searching for a plot of land to build a school. She later mentions it to Ishaan, who tells her to refrain from involving herself in his family’s affairs. That evening, both Savi and Ishaan witness Chinmay returning home drunk. Concerned about the situation, Ishaan suggests that it would be best for Chinmay to leave their home. The following day, Surekha invites Chinmay to join them for a temple ceremony along with Shikha, but he refuses, claiming there is no longer any relationship left between him and Shikha. Hurt by this statement, Shikha also decides not to attend the ceremony.
Surekha then explains to Ishaan that she will take Reeva with her as she considers her the true daughter-in-law of the family. Displeased with Surekha’s behavior, Ishaan requests her to stop giving false hope to Reeva and her family and reminds her that she can welcome Reeva as a daughter but not as a daughter-in-law.
