GHKKPM 27th April 2024 Written Update Savi slapped. Savi walks into Ishaan’s dark room, surrounded by fireflies. He questions her presence and she explains that she wanted to let him know that he entered her life like the flickering lights – bringing it brightness and joy. Desperate to share something with him, she turns away from his gaze. As she begins to read a letter, Savi confesses that he has unknowingly captured her heart. But before she can continue, Ishaan interrupts with a forceful slap across her face. Shocked by his reaction, Savi stammers out those three words – “I Love you, Ishaan Sir.” With disbelief in his eyes, he demands to know what she just said.
Without hesitation, Savi looks into his eyes and repeats those words. This time, Ishaan’s response is harsh as he ridicules her for believing in love and dismisses their relationship as purely student-teacher dynamics. He reminds Savi of their dreams – hers to become an IAS officer and his to make Harini one too – and scolds her for getting distracted by love. With disappointment and anger in his voice, he rips the letter apart and instructs Savi to focus on her studies instead of creating love stories in her mind. Ishaan urges Savi to focus on her studies and not blow this out of proportion, as he doesn’t want to see sight of her. He reminds her that their relationship is strictly that of a teacher and student.
Ishaan then checks if Savi comprehends his words, and she confirms that she does. Finally, he requests Savi to leave. She obeys him and leaves. Savi confides in Harini about her incomplete first love, expressing her frustration with Ishaan’s belief that she cannot simultaneously pursue both love and her goals. She questions if it is wrong for her to dream of both. Meanwhile, Ishaan reflects on their argument, physically punishing himself for his actions and contemplating his reasons for doing so. His conscience questions his behavior, to which he admits that hitting a woman is never acceptable.
However, he justifies his actions as a means to end Savi’s thoughts of love. He insists that he can bear her hatred but not her love. Ashwini comforts Savi and helps her understand her dilemma: Ishaan believes she will lose sight of her goals, which is why he did what he did. Ashwini assures Savi that this does not mean Ishaan doesn’t care for her. Grateful for the clarification, Savi goes to Ishaan’s office where she notices his injured hand and realizes he has punished himself for hitting her. She tends to his wound and resolves to focus on her aspirations. In the next episode, while looking at a photo of her parents, Savi remembers how Ishaan once promised to support her dreams, but now feels betrayed by his actions.
