They all gather in the hall, where Preeta thanks Shaurya for trusting her. She explains that she chose not to transfer the property to Karan as it would seem suspicious, but she trusts Kavya to make the right decision. She assures Shaurya that it’s not a lack of trust in him, but rather his short temper that influenced her decision. Preeta reveals that she transferred the property to Kavya instead, having arranged the paperwork when Karan transferred it to her name earlier.
Shaurya is relieved that Rajveer was not involved and mumbles that he will handle things his way. Kavya inquires Preeta about the reason behind her selection. Preeta responds that Kavya, being young and talented, is adored by all, thus no objections would arise from her choice. Karan praises Preeta’s sharpness. Rakhi assumes Preeta has a great memory. Varun overhears their conversation. Rakhi spots Varun and calls him inside, where he embraces Kavya.
During a phone call, Varun shares the breaking news with someone important. Just then, Preeta arrives and Varun praises her as a great servant, impressed by her lack of selfishness and greediness. He also apologizes for his previous insults. Preeta confidently states that she knows Varun is afraid of her. She then reveals that Kavya is now the sole owner of the property before leaving. Nidhi expresses her suspicion to Kareena, believing that it must be part of Preeta’s plan. She compliments Preeta’s intelligence and claims that Kavya is Preeta’s favorite.
