Jhanak 28th June 2024 Written Update Agitated. Jhanak believes she is allowing Anirudh the freedom to marry Arshi on his terms. Shrishti urges Jhanak to expedite the matter, fearing delays in the overall proceedings. Both Anirudh and Jhanak remain hesitant and do not move towards signing the papers. Arshi also appears anxious for the issue to be resolved quickly. Jhanak happily signs the papers while Aniruddh requests to read them aloud. However, he intentionally delays this request as Arshi assures that she has already done so without any issues. Tanuja and Bipasha then distribute sweets among everyone.
Jhanak excitedly declares her participation in Anirudh’s upcoming wedding and expresses her eagerness for all the customs. Anirudh is pleasantly surprised by her enthusiasm. The guests praise Jhanak for her beautiful decoration and delicious Kashmiri dishes specially made for Anirudh and Arshi. However, both Arshi and Shrishti politely decline the food, which also prompts Anirudh to reject it. Mrinalini accompanies her father to the Bose residence to deliver the invitation. Upon seeing her father, Choton becomes uncomfortable and attempts to leave. The family then summons Choton.
However, a dispute ensues between Mrinalini and Choton regarding a school-related issue. Her presence irritates him greatly, leading Choton to once again fabricate his adoption by his parents. Tanuja bestows her blessings upon both Anirudh and Arshi. Anirudh proudly declares his love for Arshi, stating that he is going to marry her. A guest then voices their gossip, claiming that Anirudh has been having an affair with Jhanak. Shrishti jumps in to defend Arshi, calling her the symbol of wealth and prosperity for Anirudh. In response, Anirudh confidently proclaims that no one can take Arshi away from him. He tries to make Jhanak jealous, but the latter is happy for Arshi and him. Jhanak 28th June 2024 Written Update Agitated:
Tanuja suggests performing some rasam before eating food. Anirudh expresses his intense hunger, and Arshi reminds him to control his appetite. While stating that he is famished, he adds that Arshi and others must also feel the same way. After discussing the Shanknaath ritual, Anjana plays the shank while Dadi blesses both Anirudh and Arshi. Bipasha advises them not to let anyone come between them after marriage as they both will be happy together. She taunts Jhanak, and Anirudh too passes a remark towards Jhanak.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini and Choton engage in an argument while her father watches with amusement. Asking them to go inside and meet everyone, Choton tries to get rid of them. Her father requests Choton to drop them off as well. As Choton walks away muttering mantras, Mrinalini calls him out for lying about being a saint when he has six children from previous relationships. Her father expresses disbelief as he is contacted by Choton’s mother about Mrinalini and Choton’s potential alliance. Shocked by this revelation, they fall silent.
Tanuja blesses Anirudh and Arshi as well as compliments them. Mrinalini, unaware of the situation, asks her father what is going on. Her dad responds by saying that he has been invited to discuss a potential marriage proposal. Mrinalini is taken aback and questions if this is about her marrying this guy. Her father confirms it and adds that Choton is good-looking. Choton then continues to fabricate stories in order to save face. Mrinalini interjects by saying that she had actually taken pity on him and granted him an order for books but he still resorted to deceitful tactics. She then asks if she should reveal this information to his family. However, Choton defends himself by admitting ignorance of the fact that she is a family friend, she didn’t give him any order and therefore he felt compelled to lie. Amused, her father laughs and remarks at how funny Choton still is. He likes Choton.
Some ladies gossip about Anirudh and Jhanak in an insulting way. Jhanak overhears their comments and weeps. She finds it hard to stand there for long. Mrinalini’s father instructs Choton to leave, mentioning that they will discuss the matter later. Curious, Choton asks what they will talk about, considering he only speaks to God these days. Mrinalini interjects, pointing out that he had just mentioned money in their presence. Choton defends himself, stating that since she refused to give him any his deserved payments. He clarifies that he is not one for family gatherings and instead prefers to visit temples and practice devotion. However, her father interrupts him and urges him to speak to the decorator instead of mentioning devotion.
Shrishti turns to Anirudh and announces that Arshi now belongs to him. She adds that from this moment on, Arshi is his “Lakshmi” and advises him to take good care of her as losing her would mean losing everything. Anirudh gratefully responds, promising that no one can take Arshi away from him. Jhanak leaves for her own tasks. Anirudh and Arshi eat the prepared dishes. Mrinalini expresses her concerns about Choton’s deceitful nature. Her dad is also unsure about the situation, contemplating how to proceed with Mrinalini’s marriage to him. On the other hand, Choton is determined not to marry Mrinalini.
Mrinalini and her dad meet the entire family. They get a warm welcome. Lal clicks a family picture with them. Appu approaches Meenakshi. Appu then reveals that she has a secret to share. Anirudh eagerly asks him what it is. Just then, Choton enters the room and mentions that he has completed his tasks and will join them soon after finishing his work. However, Dadi interrupts Choton and reminds him to stay put. Appu stresses the importance of the matter and urges everyone to stop Choton from leaving. Anjana interjects, telling Appu not to involve herself in adult conversations.
But Appu argues that she is also mature enough to discuss it. Anjana scolds Appu for her behavior but she insists on discussing Choton and Mrinalini’s marriage plans as everyone else had been talking about it earlier. Choton abruptly leaves, causing Appu to tease him for being too shy. Dadi denies ever mentioning such a thing but Appu accuses her of lying as she had clearly heard her say it earlier. Anirudh comforts everyone by mentioning how much he adores his favorite uncle, Choton. Jhanak wonders why Anirudh claims to be incapable of living without her if he appears content and happy with Arshi. Next in the show, Jhanak applies Haldi to Anirudh and gets emotional.
