Jhanak 29th June 2024 Written Update Haldi twist. Anirudh openly expresses his love for Arshi, causing speculation among the guests. They discuss the dynamic between Jhanak and Anirudh and question his sudden affection for her. Some even unfairly blame Jhanak for tarnishing the Bose family’s reputation. Shrishti declares Arshi as the “Laxmi” in Anirudh’s life and believes that by caring for her daughter, he will invite more good fortune into their lives. Anirudh vows to always cherish and respect Arshi, promising not to take her for granted. The ongoing feud between Mrinalini and Choton persists as they constantly bicker and mock each other’s character.
Despite Mrinalini’s father pushing for their marriage, the two cannot seem to stop arguing. Choton presents himself as eccentric and untruthful, causing Amitabh to question his intentions. As they enter the Bose household, both families warmly welcome them after many years of not seeing each other. They all reminisce about old stories and engage in gossip. As Appu enters the hall, she engages in conversation with Mrinalini.
Choton, on the other hand, attempts to come up with excuses to avoid facing her. However, his efforts are in vain as Appu suddenly reveals that Choton and Mrinalini are getting married. The announcement catches them both off guard and the rest of the family joins in discussing the matter. Jhanak can’t help but notice Anirudh’s joyous expression and doubts the sincerity of his previous claims of loving her. Later, Jhanak applies the haldi to Anirudh on Bipasha and Anjana’s insistence. She gets emotional and feels like losing everything and seeing Anirudh go away from her forever. Will Jhanak realize her love and dare to confess it before Anirudh’s marriage? Jhanak recalls the conversation she had with Anirudh in Srinagar. She remembers his words held no significance and that he would move on with Arshi. She ferld insulted by his actions and decides she would not tolerate it. Anirudh, on the other hand, is pleased by her tense reaction. He wi confident that his acting skills are good. He also believes in reciprocating any insults thrown his way. Dadu asks Baren about his decision, to which he replies that he hasn’t spoken to Meenakshi yet. Dadi assures him that they will give an honest answer to any question he may have. Meanwhile, Mrinalini has made up her mind not to marry Choton and needs to explain this to her father. Baren asks her to go out and speak with everyone present, but she refuses and suggests they have the conversation in front of her. Dadu reminisces about how close their family used to be and how Choton and Mrinalini used to play together during their childhood.
Dadu mentions his mother used to praise the pairing of Choton and Mrinalini, hoping that she would become their daughter-in-law. Mrinalini feels odd and excuses herself. She has made up her mind not to marry Choton. After she leaves, Dadu asks if it’s not enough that Choton is his son for Baren to consider the alliance. Dadi expresses their fondness for Mrinalini and praises Choton’s honesty. Baren admits he also likes Choton but he has changed oddly. When Dadu asks what he did, Baren reveals that Choton wants to renounce the world and live as a monk. After a long discussion, Baren decides to not give his consent for the alliance, making Dadu and Dadi worried.
The family members gather for Anirudh’s haldi ceremony. Bipasha instructs Jhanak to hold the haldi bowl and cherish the moments while Dadi inquires about Anirudh’s whereabouts. Moments later, Anirudh appears and sets his gaze on Jhanak. Playfully, Dadi asks him if he had forgotten her and he assures her that it is impossible for him to do so. After receiving Dadi’s blessings, they dance together while everyone applauds. Dadi continues with the rituals and Jhanak watches on from far. Anirudh is determined to carry out all traditions perfectly while Jhanak silently wishes him happiness. Finally, Dadi invites Anjana and Tanuja to participate in the haldi ceremony as well.
Dadi instructs Jhanak to put haldi on Anirudh. Bipasha agrees, saying she can apply as much as she wants before leaving their house. Tanuja reminds Jhanak that there is also dancing to be done. However, Jhanak reassures them. Tanuja reiterates that they are asking her to put haldi on Anirudh and urges her to do so. Anirudh looks at Jhanak and silently pleads for her not to apply the haldi on him. He finds hard to control his feelings. Despite his unspoken request, she goes ahead and puts the haldi on him, causing an intense moment between them. Coming up next, Arshi falls unconscious due to unknown reasons. While cradling an unconscious Arshi, Anirudh seems distressed. Jhanak is reminded by Shrishti that Arshi is his sister. Shrishti angrily rebukes Jhanak but Mrinalini steps in to support the latter.
