Jhanak 8th July 2024 Written Update Proof for Jhanak. Anirudh learns that Jhanak has been arrested and taken to the police station. To prove himself a responsible life partner for Arshi who is suffering a lot, he declares he will pursue the truth and not support Jhanak if she is found guilty. Anjana and Appu are shocked by Anirudh’s sudden transformation. The household becomes divided: Tanuja and Bipasha demand the harshest punishment for Jhanak, while others refuse to believe she could be guilty.
However, Anirudh insists on examining the evidence before sending Jhanak to jail. The family doesn’t understand if he favors Jhanak or Arshi. Anirudh stays confused on his stand. Shubh and Tanuja try to dissuade Anirudh from going to the police station, arguing there isn’t enough proof against Jhanak. They attempt to influence Anirudh to ensure Jhanak doesn’t get bail. Anirudh, however, vows to punish Jhanak himself if she is found guilty and heads to the police station to review the evidence.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini and Choton visit the photo studio to examine the CCTV footage from the day in question, hoping to find proof against the allegations made by Srishti. Initially, they find nothing significant. Later, they see the footage where Shrishti keeps the diya near Jhanak. After collecting the footage from the photographer, they argue in the car, both reluctant to marry each other but continuing their conversation. Shubh has already filed the case in court to prevent Jhanak from getting bail. Although Jhanak is at the police station, she has not been officially arrested, leaving Shubh anxious about the situation. If no proof is found, Jhanak will be released. Bipasha and Tanuja are incredulous at the possibility of Jhanak returning home after all the drama.
At the police station, Jhanak is pressured to confess, despite repeatedly stating her innocence regarding any harm to Arshi. The police refuse to listen and threaten her to confess. Jhanak denies any involvement in the case. Just then, Choton and Mrinalini arrive with evidence. Mrinalini scolds the police officer for detaining Jhanak without sufficient proof and asserts her support for the innocent to ensure justice. Choton declares they have evidence to disprove Srishti’s claims. When the police officer refuses to listen, Mrinalini threatens to involve a senior officer, who is her friend’s husband.
Ahead in the show, Anirudh, arriving at the police station, is torn between his loyalty to Jhanak and his commitment to the truth. He demands to see the evidence. Jhanak is hurt by Anirudh’s words when he demands punishment for her if she is found guilty. The officer presents what they have, but Anirudh is not convinced. Mrinalini and Choton enter and present the CCTV footage, showing that Jhanak was not involved in any wrongdoing. The footage reveals discrepancies in Srishti’s story, casting doubt on her allegations. Back at home, the tension gets high. Shubh, Tanuja and Bipasha are furious, unable to accept the possibility of Jhanak’s innocence. They are not pleased with this turn of events. Shubh, feeling defeated, realizes his plan to keep Jhanak in custody has failed. Mrinalini and Choton, despite their disagreements, are united in their relief that Jhanak is proven innocent. Mrinalini continues to support Jhanak, advocating for her rightful place in the family.
