Jhanak 12th July 2024 Written Update Jhanak’s new start. Vinayak is upset with Shrishti for her actions. He expresses his frustration, saying that it’s difficult to live with someone who only knows hatred. Shrishti becomes emotional and begins to cry. Tanuja steps in to console her, reminding everyone of the good news that Arshi will be able to dance again after her surgery. She also mentions how Arshi will participate in a dance reality show in Mumbai. Bipasha agrees, adding that they should all go to Mumbai as well. Just then, Anirudh arrives and informs them that they are taking Arshi for surgery and won’t allow them to visit her. In response, Anirudh offers to stay behind while the others go home.
However, Shubh speaks up on behalf of the group, declaring their intention to stay with him at the hospital. Shrishti shares that Arshi is in shock and isn’t speaking to anyone. She adds that the blame is being directed towards her, but she assures she never meant to hurt anyone. She angrily states that Jhanak has caused harm to Arshi and now she has fled, likely because she can’t face anyone. Anirudh intervenes, stating he will leave if this drama continues, and insists we stop accusing Jhanak.
Meanwhile, Jhanak arrives in Mumbai and asks the driver for directions as she is new to the city. The driver tells her to take a seat and Appu stops Lalon from berating her for supposedly stealing a ball. She returns the ball and tearfully denies being a thief, but Lalon soothes her by calling her the best girl in the world. Appu doubts his words, sharing how Jhanak left her because of Appu’s supposed bad behavior regarding the ball, which she used to distract herself from sadness. Jhanak gazes at the city and ponders how she will manage to survive in such a bustling place. She is certain that her mother will shield her from any troubles. Lalon instructs Appu to keep the ball. He begins to sing.
Appu admires his rap, although she admits it was too quick for her to comprehend. He reveals that he wrote the rap himself. Remembering his promise, Appu reminds him of the day when he had agreed to take her along for Shiv Puja. She promises to pray for Jhanak’s safe return home. Lalon agrees with a smile and they make their way towards the puja. Anirudh calls Jhanak, urging her to answer the phone and share her whereabouts. However, Jhanak is determined to ignore his call and even considers changing her number so she can move on with her life. Anirudh’s concern for Jhanak is evident as he anxiously waits for her response.
Appu asks Lalon to pass him the ball as they play. Just then, a boy comes to fetch Lalon who tells him to go ahead and play while he stays back for a moment. She reminds how much she misses Jhanak and decides to offer a prayer for her well-being. Lalon says that he will speak to Choton and take her to the temple. Meanwhile, Jhanak contemplates finding employment at an office where she has to submit an application form and present her documents. However, the lady in charge suggests waiting for her exam results before proceeding further or speaking with the boss about it. Unfazed by this setback, Jhanak informs the lady that she will handle things on her own and confidently states that she came for the job.
The nurse informs the family that the operation is complete and the patient has been moved to her room Arshi will regain consciousness shortly and one person can enter the room to see her. Anirudh heads over to see Arshi. Shrishti reveals her worry that she won’t be at ease until Arshi can dance again. Tanuja reassures her that she will recover soon. Shrishti responds affirmatively, expressing her desire to see Arshi dancing once more, especially since she received an offer from a popular reality show. Shubh praises Arshi as the best in the country, stating there’s no competition for her.
The office staff greets Jhanak and inquires about the job application. Jhanak informs them that she has not yet graduated, but is currently waiting for her exam results which will be available in a few days. She assures them that she will submit all the necessary documents once she receives her results. However, the man sadly informs her that they are unable to offer any assistance at this time. Jhanak then asks if there are any other available positions. The lady responds by suggesting that she wait until their boss arrives. Grateful for their consideration, Jhanak thanks them, to which the lady kindly reminds her to express gratitude once the bosses have given their consent. The man then mentions another possible opportunity.
However, the lady hesitates to reveal more information and advises Jhanak to not hold onto false hope but rather fill out the employment form and wait for further updates. Jhanak thanks them again and takes a moment to introduce herself as Jhanak Raina from Kolkata, who has just arrived in Mumbai for the first time and is in search of a job before securing housing arrangements.
Shubh tells that Arshi’s condition is improving and reassures them not to worry. He mentions that he hopes to complete the marriage rituals before heading to the show. Shrishti expresses her surprise at Anirudh’s sudden change of heart. Shubh urges her to forgive him as he is just concerned about Arshi. Shrishti agrees, acknowledging that no mother would intentionally harm her child. Anirudh visits Arshi and the doctor tells him that the operation was successful, but Arshi needs time to recover before returning to her normal routine. Anirudh gets glad. The doctor also cautions him against making Arshi emotional as it could impede her recovery. Anirudh assures the doctor that he will refrain from talking to her.
A staff member informs them that bosses have arrived, but they may not be able to meet Jhanak. Jhanak, however, is determined and requests for just five minutes with them. After some hesitation, the staff member agrees, but explains that their boss ultimately has the final say. Worried about where she’ll stay, Jhanak reminds them of her need for a job and pleads for them to arrange a meeting with their boss. She prays for a positive outcome in securing a job opportunity. Ahead, Jhanak bags the job of Guruji’s PA, while Bose family confronts Anirudh about his love for Jhanak.
