Yeh Rishta Update Rohit planned entry adds drama 20th July 2024. Manish is taken aback upon seeing Rohit. The nurse informs them that he had given his name, Rohit, to someone on the phone earlier. Ruhi breaks down in tears. Armaan and Abhira speculate if this could be their long-lost Rohit, as they had only found his car before. They are unsure about breaking the news to the rest of the family. Abhira tells him that they should inform the family about Rohit and maybe they can put united efforts into finding him. Armaan agrees but asks Abhira not to give him such a big hope that he can’t handle it when it breaks.
Armaan and Abhira return home with important news. One mentions the hospital, and Dadi inquires about it. Before the other can respond, Ruhi bursts in and rushes to Dadi, visibly upset. She gestures toward something and Manish enters with Rohit in a wheelchair. The room lights come on as they all react in shock to seeing Rohit. Armaan embraces him, crying, while Manish explains that he had been involved in an accident but will recover soon according to the hospital.
Memories of their time with Rohit flood everyone’s minds as they are overcome with emotion. Manish reminds them that Rohit needs rest and he is taken to his room. Armaan catches Abhira at the doorway before approaching Vidya. Dadi removes the garlands from Rohit’s picture and happily eats a candy. Abhira goes to meet Rohit when no one is around. She urges him to awaken and meet his family, who have been anxious for him. Rohit moves his fingers while she talks to him. She observes him. She shouts to call the entire family there. She says that Rohit is gaining consciousness.
