She feels disappointed to turn down Vaiju’s help and support. She tells Vaiju that she can’t help but lie to her family because Arhaan needs his father. She doesn’t want to end her marriage for Arhaan’s sake. Vaiju asserts that no matter the problems, Ragini’s husband shouldn’t hit her. Ragini explains to her that it’s not easy to end a marriage. Vaiju is pushed to recall how she has called off her marriage with Ranvijay, due to his denial. Rao Sahab and Sulekha advise Vaiju not to work for the puja, because she just adds up drama.
During a religious ceremony, Vaiju questions the Pandit about a husband who acts like a demon, and the Pandit responds that a wife can guide him back to the right path. She tries to open Ragini’s eyes so that she won’t bear Sandeep’s torture. Ragini stays quiet, despite understanding the hint provided by Vaiju. Rao Sahab scolds Vaiju for disrupting the puja, and she leaves. Jaya supports Vaiju, believing her actions are right for Ragini.
Vaiju thinks of her promise to Ranvijay that she will expose Sandeep before leaving the house. She wants Ragini’s life to be peaceful. Vaiju devises a plan with Raj’s help. They hide a microphone in Ragini’s room to expose Sandeep’s true nature. Sandeep tries to steal money and gold that has been kept in his room for safety purposes, but she resists and speaks out against him. Sandeep threatens her. Vaiju and Raj connect the speaker, broadcasting their confrontation to everyone.
Sandeep goes on to hurt Ragini. The family is shocked to know his real side when they hear his confession on the speaker. Ranvijay intervenes, protecting Ragini and beating Sandeep. Vaiju stops Ranvijay, urging him not to stoop to Sandeep’s level. Ranvijay forces Sandeep to apologize and insists on calling the police.
