Jhanak 12th August 2024 Written Update Kumar Sanu’s entry. Anirudh tells Rudra about Jhanak and Brij’s blood ties. Rudra can’t believe that Jhanak is Brij’s daughter. Anirudh tells him that he knows the truth for a long time, but doesn’t tell Jhanak about it. He wants Jhanak to earn a name and fame, before confronting her father. Rudra tells him about the injustice Brij did with Jhanak. He tells Anirudh that he has seen Brij’s hatred for Jhanak and it’s something to worry about. He now knows the strong reason for his hatred. He wonders why Brij abandoned Jhanak and hates her. Anirudh tells him about Brij and Urvashi’s relationship and Jhanak’s tough life.

He says that Urvashi has raised Jhanak since her birth. He regrets that Jhanak will be upset when she learns this truth. Later, a special guest Kumar Sanu is seen gracing the event. Kumar tells the finalists that he has come to judge their dance talent. He performs on his superhit songs. A wave of enthusiasm is seen. Kumar throws challenges for Jhanak and Arshi. They perform on his songs. Jhanak decides to lose the competition for Arshi’s sake. Shrishti is happy with Jhanak’s defeat. Kumar observes Jhanak’s talent. He realizes Jhanak’s move and praises her for showing a big heart along with her talent. He declares Arshi as the winner.

He asks Jhanak not to be disheartened as she will get many such platforms to earn fame. Jhanak thanks him. Why did Anirudh influence Jhanak to lose the competition? Shrishti and Arshi get a chance to belittle Jhanak in front of everyone. They don’t find any talent in Jhanak. Aditya and Rudra get upset with Jhanak’s move, which lets them down. Anirudh tells Rudra that Jhanak is Brijbhushan’s daughter, his unwanted child, who he will never accept in front of the world. Rudra is shocked to learn this. He asks why would Brijbhushan deny to accept his blood. Anirudh says that Brij isn’t an emotional person, but a practical man. He adds that it’s a long story. Rudra asks him to explain to him. Anirudh tells him about Urvashi, who was a good dancer. He adds that Urvashi and Brij used to dance together, Brij did a namesake marriage with her, and when she got pregnant, he refused to accept her and left her.

He says that Shrishti is Urvashi’s sister. He adds that Arshi and Jhanak are cousins. He mentions that Shrishti and Urvashi had a competition between them, Shrishti ruined Urvashi by defaming her character and removed her from Brij’s life. He says that Urvashi tried to contact Brij, but he didn’t take Jhanak’s responsibility. He regrets that Urvashi has faced much humiliation in her life and this ultimately led to her suicide. He says that Brij insulted Urvashi a lot and she died that night. He adds that he has Urvashi’s last letter and got to know her life’s story.

Rudra asks him why didn’t he tell this to Jhanak. Anirudh says that he doesn’t want to increase her troubles. He thinks it will be the right time when she earns name and fame. Rudra says that Jhanak can expose Brij, she is strong enough to fight the wrong, and Brij should get insulted and dethroned from his position. He is confident that Jhanak will ruin Brij. Anirudh says that only Rudra can help Jhanak now. He requests Rudra to tell this secret to Jhanak at the right time. Rudra asks him not to worry about Jhanak. He gets angered at Brij and understands his motives for suppressing Jhanak’s truth. He wants to stand by Jhanak. He asks Anirudh about his connection with Jhanak.

Anirudh is compelled to slip down memory lane and recollect his marriage. He says that he has no connection with her. He adds that Jhanak was alone in Srinagar after Urvashi’s death, and stayed in his house for a few days before coming to Mumbai. He calls himself a well-wisher of Jhanak. Rudra goes back to Brij and stares at him with anger. Brij asks him why is he staring like he is up to something. Ruchita asks the judges to announce the winner who will compete with Arshi Mukherjee in the final round. The judges say that its tough to declare the finalist’s name. They welcome Kumar Sanu to their show.

Kumar Sanu takes on the stage to declare the finalist’s name. He sings praises of a Kashmiri girl, Jhanak Raina. He says that Jhanak is the finalist and she is talented. Rudra, Aditya and Anirudh get happy for Jhanak. Jhanak goes on the stage. Ruchita says that Jhanak and Arshi will have a competition to win the trophy. She asks Kumar Sanu to speak a few words on Jhanak’s performance. Jhanak gets overjoyed to hear praise from him. She thanks him. He asks her to dance to his songs if she is not allergic to male singers. She says that Rudra selects the songs for her performance.

Kumar Sanu says that he knows Rudra well. He tells Rudra that he wants to request Jhanak, she has to perform his song. Jhanak says that she is lucky to perform on his song. Anirudh wishes the best for Jhanak. He feels she deserves the fame and respect. Jhanak performs on Kumar Sanu’s song. She pleases everyone with her performance. Kumar Sanu sings a romantic song and asks everyone to reminisce about the person they love. Jhanak sees Anirudh with love. Anirudh too has his eyes on her.

They have a dream romance sequence. Kumar Sanu gets seated. Ruchita wishes all the best to Jhanak because her competition is going to happen with the queen of Dance, Arshi Mukherjee. Jhanak says that it’s her good luck to compete with Arshi, who hasn’t lost any competition till now. She says that expressing art beautifully is more important than winning a trophy. She expresses her views on her passion for dance.

The Bose family gets into a long argument about Appu’s bonding with Lalon. Appu demands them to call Lalon. Choton defends Appu in front of Bipasha and Tanuja. Anirudh meets Jhanak and congratulates her for her success. He tells her that he wants to ask her something. She says that she will be happy to help him to pay back his favors. She wants to work hard and win over Arshi. He requests her to lose the competition for Arshi’s sake. He says that this show is important to Arshi, if she loses the competition then she will lose herself. Jhanak is shocked at his request. He asks her to let Arshi win the competition. In the next episode, Jhanak loses the competition at Anirudh’s request.
