Jhanak 23rd April 2025 Written Update: Shocking Twist

Jhanak 23rd April 2025 Written Update: Shocking Twist. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode kicks off with Arshi casually telling Siddharth that Anirudh is calling. Sipping his chill like always, Siddharth tells her to pick it up. Anirudh, ever the calendar reminder, informs Arshi that tomorrow is the 8th—as if she didn’t already know that it’s his big fat wedding day. Arshi, with her trademark sass, reminds him that the divorce will be done and dusted within an hour. She assures him there’s no need to panic, adding that she’s not here to play villain and snatch him away from Jhanak. She plans to settle with Siddharth and throws in a classy “See you at court” like she’s RSVPing to a brunch. Anirudh thanks her and awkwardly realizes he forgot to invite her to the wedding. Nice one, Anirudh. Arshi doesn’t let it go and calls him out. Jhanak overhears the whole thing and looks like she just bit into a lemon.

Anirudh offers to invite Siddharth to the wedding too—talk about guilt-invites. Arshi shuts that idea down, saying Siddharth is busy (read: not interested) and she won’t show up solo. After ending the call, she suddenly wants her wedding with Siddharth to be a grand affair. Someone’s trying to win the petty war. Siddharth plays along and even says they’ll invite Anirudh. Then he pokes the bear, asking if she still has feelings for Anirudh. Arshi denies it, of course. Siddharth, always the philosopher, tells her to fight for justice and be ready for the next day. Arshi declares that Anirudh will finally come to his senses. We’ll see, queen.

Meanwhile, Jhanak is having one of those “deep talk” moments with Anirudh. She asks what Arshi said. Anirudh, trying to be the honest fiancé, tells her he’ll just drop by court after the haldi to finalize the divorce. Because apparently, multitasking wedding rituals and legal paperwork is his thing now. Jhanak wonders how he’s still casually planning this, and Anirudh insists it’ll just take an hour. He senses she’s upset and reassures her. She reminds him—again—that they should only marry after the divorce. Anirudh hugs her and says he hates seeing her upset. She says she’s fine with a smile that screams “barely.”

Elsewhere, Lalon is having a mini breakdown and asks Kajol if everything’s alright. Kajol says Appu’s health is improving. Lalon’s not convinced—probably because doctors suggested more tests than a science fair project. Kajol stays hopeful, telling him nothing serious will happen. He wants to end their cold war, and Kajol drops the bomb that she’s not even mad. Lalon, clearly in his feelings, says Kajol’s like family, and Appu is basically her daughter. Appu walks in right on cue, says let’s go home, and the nurse tells them the results will come later. A very “wait and watch” situation.

The next day, it’s haldi time! Jhanak shows up, glowing like a tube light. Mrinalini bans the boys, but Choton, the selfie king, argues he has to stay for pics. Appu supports him and insists on a photo with Jhanak. She compliments Jhanak, then asks about Anirudh. Laal says Anirudh will get his haldi dose later. The ceremony starts with full-on dancing and Jhanak jumps in because, well, she has to look happy for the album.

Now, Anirudh calls Arshi again, and Siddharth tells her not to answer—because we’re playing games today. Anirudh then calls Siddharth, who congratulates him with all the fake enthusiasm he can muster. Anirudh says Arshi isn’t picking up, and Siddharth smoothly lies that Arshi has a fever and can’t make it to court. He tells Anirudh to just go ahead and marry Jhanak. Anirudh, rightly puzzled, says he can’t marry without the divorce. Siddharth shrugs it off and asks him not to cancel anything. Anirudh asks for the lawyer’s number and Siddharth agrees, probably cooking up another excuse already.

Anirudh walks downstairs, questioning all his life choices. He wonders if trusting Arshi was a mistake but can’t figure out why she’d betray him—since she’s with Siddharth now. Mimi notices his grumpy face and asks if he’s okay. He lies, obviously, and says he wants to talk to Jhanak.

Elsewhere, Bipasha tells Tanuja this wedding isn’t happening. Bold claim. Anirudh pulls Jhanak aside and explains Arshi’s “sudden illness” and how divorce will now take two more days. He suggests going ahead with the wedding anyway. Jhanak looks like someone just told her they ran out of cake. Before she can say anything, Choton drags Anirudh back for haldi duty.

Later, Jhanak is dressed as a bride. Anjana tells Appu to get ready, but Appu refuses. Turns out, Appu has a fever. Jhanak gives her some medicine and gets compliments from both Appu and Anjana. Anjana tells her to never leave Anirudh, and Jhanak just nods without promising anything.

Jhanak 23rd April 2025 Written Update Precap:

Jhanak is in a village, fighting for farmers like a true warrior queen. She’s raising a child, and fate brings Anirudh back into her life when he lands there for a project. Because drama doesn’t rest.
