Letting go of her vengeance, she decides to start a new life with Siddharth and move out of the Bose house. The decision to divorce Anirudh paves the way for Jhanak and Anirudh to reunite officially.
The Bose family, though divided in their opinions, agrees to bring Jhanak back into the house. Anirudh wastes no time and announces a grand wedding with Jhanak. While she is glowing with happiness, not everyone in the family shares her joy. Anirudh’s parents and Bipasha seem visibly unhappy, hinting at more trouble ahead. The episode opens with Jhanak playing chef-wife for Anirudh, whipping up some healthy food like it’s a love potion. Anirudh, not missing a beat, flirts shamelessly, saying he’s still alive only because of the “masala” she adds. And no, not the turmeric and cumin kind. He means love masala—because subtlety is clearly not in his vocabulary. Then, like every chaotic romance ever, he pulls her, she lands on him, and boom—full filmi pose! When she demands to know what this secret masala is, he plants a kiss on her forehead and drops the cheesy line. She calls him crazy, and he proudly admits he’s mad for her. Sir, you’re not mad, you’re full-blown obsessed. She hands him juice to cool things down, but he insists on a romantic “cheers” session. Smooth.
Back at the circus called the Bose household, Choton drops the bomb that Arshi is now playing house with Siddharth. Naturally, eyebrows shoot up. Tanuja tries defending Arshi, because of course, two wrongs make a right in that house. Mrinalini wants Anirudh dragged back, but Shubh acts like a defeated dad, saying his son doesn’t listen. Newsflash, Shubh—it’s because your moral compass is stuck in 1995. Laal, ever the realist, says Anirudh’s not coming back. Anjana jumps in, saying Anirudh and Arshi are divorcing and he’ll return with Jhanak. Well, that escalated fast.
Dadi, holding on to tradition like it’s her pension plan, sighs about the mess. Mrinalini tells her to chill—it’s just a divorce, not a natural disaster. Anjana clarifies that Anirudh is with Jhanak because she’s in danger. Shubh throws shade at Jhanak, calling her “that kind of girl,” earning a well-deserved scolding from Choton. Dadi tries restoring peace and asks Bablu if he can talk some sense into Anirudh. Bablu says sure, if they agree to Anirudh’s terms. So basically, a peace treaty with conditions.
Tanuja grumbles that Jhanak ruined Arshi and Anirudh’s perfect façade of a relationship. Mrinalini claps back—Arshi ditched him first and is now cozying up with Siddharth, but the family still acts like she’s the victim. Choton praises Jhanak for taking care of Anirudh like a devoted nurse-wife hybrid. Bablu calls her the best choice for Anirudh, dropping truth bombs like a pro. Dadi wonders if a wedding is actually happening. Mrinalini says there’s nothing wrong with Jhanak and reminds them all that Shrishti is her mom and Arshi is her half-sister. Yep, the family tree is basically a drama maze.
Choton confirms that once the divorce is done, Anirudh is marrying Jhanak, and no, he doesn’t need their permission. Bold of him, but he’s not wrong. Shubh thinks the divorce won’t be easy—because drama is their family legacy. Mimi’s just praying for peace, probably tired of all this high blood pressure.
Bablu begs Shubh and Tanuja to not let their ego lose them their son. He’s ready to attend the wedding, no matter who blesses it or boycotts it. Choton says it’s time Shubh made up his mind. Dadi, still salty but realistic, says if the wedding has to happen, it should happen at home. Bablu is ready to bring the bride and groom if he gets the green signal. Tanuja finally folds and says they don’t really have a choice. Choton volunteers to go fetch them like he’s ordering groceries.
Cut to Kajol, who wants to take Appu to the hospital because she has a headache. Appu throws a toddler tantrum about injections. Jhimli tries bribing her with pulao, but Appu isn’t falling for kitchen blackmail. She demands medicine instead. Kajol, ever the rule-follower, says no pills without a doctor. Lalon tells Anuradha he’ll earn and build her a home, clearly aiming for Son-in-law of the Year. Appu reminds them she’s got money too, but Anuradha says Kajol is holding it. Kajol gives Appu some tough love—study and settle down already! Appu jokes that Kajol can just marry her husband then. Kajol’s soul leaves the chat. Appu insists she loves her sister enough to give her everything—including her husband. Kajol threatens to leave if she keeps up the drama. Appu then goes full accountant mode and asks Kajol how much she’s earned. Kajol guesses around 4–5 lakhs. Appu claims she’ll build Anuradha’s dream house with her own money. And honestly? We support this feral queen energy.
Later, Bablu arrives at Jhanak’s place with Anjana and Mrinalini. Anirudh casually asks where Choton is, but Jhanak gives him the “zip it” signal like a true partner in crime. Mrinalini picks up on it and plays along, saying Choton had exams. Anirudh says Choton’s a bit offbeat (says the man planning a wedding in the middle of a scandal). Jhanak offers them food, but Bablu cuts to the chase—they’re here to take her home. Anirudh refuses, saying Jhanak has suffered enough in the Bose house. Mrinalini nods and suggests fixing the wedding date. Jhanak looks at Anirudh, probably wondering how she went from forest girl to bahu-in-demand.
Precap: Appu teases Anirudh and Jhanak, while Arshi accuses him of wanting a divorce just to legalize his affair. Anirudh claps back that their relationship was already over.
