Jhanak 13th August 2024 Written Update Jhanak loses. Anirudh reveals to Rudra that Jhanak is Brij’s daughter from a past relationship with Urvashi. He reveals the painful story of Urvashi’s tough journey to Rudra. He tells how Shrishti has influenced Brij and made him cut ties with Urvashi. He further adds that Urvashi committed suicide due to Brij’s insults. Anirudh shares that he has a letter from Urvashi detailing her ordeal. Rudra feels sorry for Jhanak, whose father has become her biggest enemy. He promises Anirudh that he will stand by Jhanak and not let her lose until she defeats Brij. He is sure that Jhanak will destroy Brij’s reputation one day.
Rudra questions why Anirudh kept this a secret from Jhanak. Anirudh trusts Rudra and shares the truth with him. Anirudh explains that he was waiting for the right moment, but he encourages Rudra to inform Jhanak at the right time. Rudra agrees and vows to support Jhanak against Brij, who aims to ruin her life. He questions Anirudh about his relationship with Jhanak, but the latter prefers to not reveal anything about their marriage. He considers Jhanak just as Arshi’s sister now.
Back at the competition, Brij and others discuss the finalists, Jhanak and Pratiksha. Ruchita and the judges debate who will advance. Famous singer Kumar Sanu is invited to announce the winner, which turns out to be Jhanak. As a special treat, Jhanak dances to a song sung by Kumar Sanu. Her performance is praised, and she advances to the final round against Arshi.
Anirudh goes to meet Jhanak. He makes the unexpected move. He is worried about Arshi’s depression. He fears that she will sink into darkness if she loses the competition to Jhanak. Anirudh asks Jhanak to intentionally lose the finals to Arshi for the latter’s well-being. Jhanak is shocked to hear this but understands the intention behind it. She agrees to consider his request hoping to pay back his favors on her. During the final dance, Jhanak’s mask falls off, causing her to stop dancing as she plans this intentionally. Anirudh realizes Jhanak’s sacrifice, while Shrishti applauds Arshi’s winning performance. Arshi wins the competition because Jhanak backs out. This truth will be revealed and cause many twists. Jhanak is shocked when Anirudh asks her to lose the competition and let Arshi win. He tells her that Arshi has to win the competition, she is depressed after the accident and she needs to win to regain her confidence. Jhanak asks him why is he dragging her into this matter. She says that she can also sink into depression if she loses the competition. He says that she will be successful. He asks her to trust him. Jhanak asks how can she trust him and give her place to someone else. He asks her to help him and repay his favors. She asks him if he has come to make a deal. He knows he is wrong, but he worries for Arshi. She says that he loves Arshi a lot. She asks him not to take unfair measures.
He feels helpless. He says that she will not reject his plea and he is sure of it. She asks him to not make such a request. She says that Arshi didn’t do any good to her. She wants to win the competition and make her place in the new city. She asks him if he finds her undeserving. She reprimands him for being so selfish. He begs her. He says that Aditya will support her, but Arshi has nobody to stand by her. He asks her to leave this chance for Arshi.
Jhanak berates him for insulting her with his remark about Aditya. She says that she just has Rudra’s support. He tells her that she should be careful of Aditya’s intentions. She asks him not to worry about her. He says that he will worry for her, Rudra is her well-wisher, but Aditya has selfish reasons to support her. She says that she can handle her life on her own. He wishes her all the best. She says that he wants her to lose, but she will not promise him. She refuses to make a big sacrifice for Arshi. Anirudh says that he will never ask her anything for his sake. She says that she can sacrifice anything for him, but not for Arshi. Anirudh respects her decision. She goes for her performance.
Jhanak and Arshi perform for the finale round with masks to conceal their identities. Jhanak pretends to stumble and ceases to dance. Brij insults Rudra for supporting Jhanak. Rudra and Aditya get worried seeing Jhanak losing the competition to Arshi. Anirudh feels sorry, while Shrishti is happy in her ego. Jhanak changes her mind and loses the competition for Anirudh’s sake. Appu gets adamant to meet Lalon. The family is worried at her request.
Appu tells them that she would like to meet Lalon. She tells them that she is missing Jhanak and wants to see her. She adds that she has seen Jhanak dancing in the dance show. Brij sings Arshi’s praises. Anirudh and Jhanak are happy to see Arshi proceeding towards her triumph. Kumar Sanu performs on the stage before the results are announced. Tanuja tells Appu that nobody will take Jhanak’s name in their house. Bipasha feels Jhanak is also participating in the same show as Arshi. She hates Jhanak. She advises Anjana to control his daughter.
Kumar Sanu declares Arshi as the winner. Rudra gets upset about Jhanak’s failure. Anirudh feels terrible and apologetic, knowing Jhanak has made the sacrifice for his sake. He wishes her success. In the next episode, Aditya convinces Jhanak to give an audition for a movie. He tells her that he is doing a big movie and the director wants a fresh face. He asks her not to miss the golden chance. Jhanak agrees to give the audition. She sees Anirudh there. Aditya offers to drop her. She accepts his help. Anirudh gets jealous watching them.
