Kumkum Bhagya 17th August 2024 Written Update. Purvi attempts to take RV’s phone from him, causing them both to fall onto the bed. Upon entering RV’s room, Yug notices them on the bed and decides to leave. Harleen witnesses Yug leaving RV’s room with a smile and follows to see what caught his attention. Jasbir informs his man that Neha plans to flee the city, leading his man to question if Monisha is not taking any action. Jasbir dismisses this idea, as he believes Monisha’s efforts always end up being fruitless. His man advises him to be cautious, as they are trying to keep RV and Purvi apart in fear of them rekindling their relationship.
The mention of this angers Jasbir, causing him to choke his man in anger. He warns his man not to say anything that displeases him, which is promptly agreed upon by his man. Later on, Jasbir decides to speak with Neha about her concerns regarding her impending marriage. Neha realizes that no one is keeping watch over her at the moment and sees it as an opportunity to escape from the city. RV helps Purvi get out of bed and plays an audio recording of her praising him, which she deletes afterward. She questions why he did that, to which RV replies that he doesn’t need the recording because he can hear her appreciation directly.
Purvi declares she will not praise him and makes a remark about it. In response, RV comments on Purvi’s behavior. Suddenly, Harleen approaches them and advises them to be careful while they are close. Once Harleen has left, Purvi continues to tease RV for being afraid of Neha. As soon as she receives a phone call, she exits the room without answering RV’s inquiry about her whereabouts. Purvi approaches Neha and inquires about her plans to leave the city. She kindly offers to give her a ride, insisting that she get in the car. Initially hesitant, Neha eventually agrees and gets inside. Purvi then suggests that Neha could consider marrying RV if she chooses to do so. Neha declines, stating that she does not desire either Purvi’s money or her husband’s.
Instead, she wishes to depart from the city. Purvi drops her off at the bus stop and receives gratitude from Neha before she boards the bus. With a heavy heart, Purvi reflects on the immense suffering caused by Neha’s actions. Amid her thoughts, Diya calls Purvi and they discuss how much risk it took to protect RV. Diya assures Purvi that everything will be alright and urges her to not shed tears anymore. Purvi expresses relief as Neha has left Mumbai for good. Upon hearing this news, Diya asks if it is true and Purvi confirms it before receiving a call from RV. Excitedly, Diya promises to share this good news with their family members and encourages Purvi to speak with RV herself. Purvi answers RV’s call as she hears her phone ringing.
She inquires about his whereabouts, to which he replies that he is across the street. Excitedly, Purvi spots him and rushes over. With a puzzled expression, RV notices both tears and a smile on Purvi’s face. In response, she explains that she dropped Neha off at the bus depot and assures him that no one will question his actions. Meanwhile, Jasbir attempts to reach Neha by knocking on her door but receives no response. Becoming increasingly frustrated, he forcefully breaks into her home only to find it empty and her phone unreachable. Feeling determined to make Neha agree to marry RV, Jasbir decides to take matters into his own hands and teach her a lesson. RV expresses gratitude towards Purvi before wiping away their tears.
He reminds Purvi that she needs to apologize for taking risks, and the banter between them begins. Remarking on the good news, Purvi suggests they head home. RV agrees and just as a biker almost hits Purvi, RV saves her. Monisha happens to pass by and sees them together. Fuming at the biker’s recklessness, RV scolds him while Purvi defends him. However, RV’s anger grows and he storms off, saying that he holds no significance in Purvi’s life. As she watches him leave, Purvi wonders if RV is feeling jealous and if his feelings for her have changed.
