Bhagya Lakshmi 18th August 2024 Written Update. Malishka tells Aanchal and Karishma that she has hidden the lighter, when Lakshmi gets the match stick, then her countdown will begin. She tells them that Lakshmi will get burnt. They hide and watch Lakshmi lighting a match stick. The leaked gas catches fire and a blast occurs. Neelam and Rishi reach there and get to witness the blast. Neelam is left shocked upon learning of Malishka’s deadly plan. Rishi rushes to save Lakshmi. He jumps into the fire and sees Lakshmi lying unconscious. He lifts Lakshmi and gets her out of the kitchen. He gets worried and asks her to open her eyes. He panics thinking Lakshmi is no more. Malishka runs to see Lakshmi and thinks the latter is dead. She gets afraid as she didn’t mean to kill Lakshmi, but just hurt her.
She checks Lakshmi’s pulse and tells Rishi that Lakshmi’s pulse isn’t running. Rishi cries for Lakshmi. He says that nothing can happen to Lakshmi. He tells Malishka that he can’t live without Lakshm. He runs back to the kitchen to commit suicide. Malishka screams and asks Rishi to stop his madness. This turns out to be Malishka’s imagination. Lakshmi gets saved when Paro stops Lakshmi from igniting the fire. How will Malishka succeed in her plans?
Rishi and Lakshmi argue. She refuses to do flag hoisting. She doesn’t want to attend the function as his wife. She says that she is an ordinary person and she doesn’t need this honor. He says that she is a teacher and a mother, she has all the qualities that make her extraordinary. He adds that she is his wife and she is running his family. He asks her not to refuse. Malishka, Aanchal, and Karishma get to overhear their conversation. Karishma says that Lakshmi always makes plans to refuse and get Rishi’s attention. Neelam scolds Malishka for risking Lakshmi’s life.
She says that she doesn’t want Paro’s life to get threatened. She rebukes Aanchal and Karishma for not doing anything that traumatizes Paro. She asks them not to argue or scold Lakshmi in front of Paro. She says that Paro was also in the kitchen at the time of the fire breakout and anything could have happened to her. Today in Bhagya Lakshmi, Lakshmi says that she is an ordinary person and doesn’t deserve to do the flag hoisting. She wants to talk to Rishi once. She gets praised by the guests. Rishi says that he will speak to Lakshmi. He wants to do everything for her with all his heart. Sandeep praises their jodi. Harleen agrees with them. Lakshmi asks Rishi to tell them that she can’t do the flag hoisting. He asks what does she want to say. Karishma tells Aanchal that Lakshmi would be doing a drama to get Rishi’s attention. Lakshmi tells that Neelam doesn’t like her. She doesn’t want to do the flag hoisting, because she is an ordinary woman. Rishi tells him about the party’s slogan.
He adds that she has all the qualities of a good mother, wife, and Bahu. He asks her to just agree. He convinces her. They go back to the living room. Sandeep asks Lakshmi for a cup of tea. He tells that he has a headache. Lakshmi goes to make tea. Rohan asks Harleen about Raksha Bandhan. Karishma and Aanchal hope Malishka doesn’t make a mistake this time. Malishka feels insulted. She says that she is Rishi’s wife. She hates Lakshmi. She can’t tolerate Lakshmi in the house. Aanchal and Karishma come to ask her if she has done something against Lakshmi. Malishka tells them that she has worked on her plan. She doesn’t want to lose her importance in the Oberoi mansion.
The kids rush to Lakshmi. Rishi says that the kids love Lakshmi a lot. He praises Lakshmi who is a good mother to his kids. Malishka tells Aanchal and Karishma that she will tackle Lakshmi and get back her respect. Rishi speaks to the guests. Ayush jokes on Malishka. Malishka tells Aanchal that Lakshmi will be finding something to light the gas. She reveals her plan of putting Lakshmi in danger. She wants Lakshmi to suffer. Aanchal asks if Lakshmi will die. Malishka says that Lakshmi will get hurt and scared, and then run out of the Oberoi house. They decide to go and watch the incident. Lakshmi lights the matchstick. The fire catches up in the kitchen. Malishka, Aanchal and Karishma watch her from afar. They see Rishi coming there to find Lakshmi. Malishka rushes to save Rishi. Rishi gets Lakshmi out of the kitchen. Malishka and Rishi get afraid that Lakshmi is dead.
