YRKKH 28th August 2024 Akshara Abhira truth to surface. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Kaveri permits Abhira to take a loan and host a function to check if she can handle the responsibility. She wants Abhira to become responsible. She asks Vidya to permit Abhira to organize the function. Armaan is sure that Abhira will handle everything. Ruhi doesn’t think Abhira can get a loan. Abhira goes to the bank and applies for a personal loan. She gets Kaveri’s call. She says that she had reached the bank to apply for a loan. The lady asks Abhira to write her guarantor’s name. Abhira gets confused. Kaveri says that she knows a guarantor is needed to take a loan. She asks Abhira to write her name in the form. Abhira is surprised.
She thanks Kaveri. Kaveri asks her to become responsible and pass the test. Abhira is glad. Kaveri asks Armaan how he gets the energy to tolerate Abhira. He smiles in response. Ruhi says that she deliberately missed giving Abhira’s parents’ name for printing so that the wedding gets delayed. She gets dizzy when she checks Abhira’s parents name written on a note. She couldn’t read it. She finds Armaan there and yells at him for following him due to a loss of faith. He says that he has come for some work. She faints. Armaan holds her. Abhira reaches there. He clarifies the situation to her. They take Ruhi home. Abhira says that she won’t get any wrong thoughts.
Ruhi gets conscious. She asks Armaan not to worry about her. Rohit embraces her. He says that he was very scared. Abhira asks Ruhi to take a rest. Rohit takes care of Ruhi. The next day, Kaveri wishes the family on Janmashtami. She asks the family members who will sing the bhajan. Armaan asks Abhira to sing the bhajan which she sang before. Kaveri asks Abhira to sing it. Abhira sings at his request. The bhajan reminds Ruhi about Akshara. Goenkas enter the house at the same instant and get to hear the same bhajan that reminds them of Akshara. Kaveri is pleased with Abhira’s melodious bhajan. Vidya tells Abhira that they didn’t know she sang so well.
Manish meets Abhira and asks her about the Bhajan. Abhira tells him that she heard it at a temple and remembers it. He asks her if she is sure. She says yes. Armaan praises Abhira’s singing abilities. Manisha says that Abhira is very talented. Abhira asks Kaveri’s permission to manage the function and become a good Bahu. She says that she won’t disappoint Kaveri. Kaveri says that it’s a big responsibility. Abhira says that she will learn new things and know her capabilities. Kaveri agrees. Ruhi gets angered that Manish has forgiven Akshara. She gets the gifts for Abhira and crushes the note in anger. She feels Abhira is hurting her.
Kajal tells Kaveri about the Bal Gopal ritual. She asks who would Kaveri choose this year to perform this ritual. Kaveri takes time to decide. Manish tells Kaveri that the Goenka family was big before, they used to enjoy every function, but times changed and they lost their happiness. He misses the old times. Armaan messages Abhira and wants to romance her. She refuses to miss out on any responsibility for his distraction. Manish finds them chatting and pulls Armaan’s leg. Later, Ruhi gets mad after overhearing Armaan and Abhira’s family planning talks.
