YRKKH 4th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira discovers that Kaveri desires to have the baby with the Poddars if she and Armaan become separated. According to Kaveri, this third stipulation prevents Abhira from leaving Armaan. When Armaan meets with Abhira, she becomes upset with the Poddars for damaging her self-worth. Ruhi ponders not wanting to harm Armaan, but feeling powerless. A heated exchange ensues between Armaan and Abhira. Despite arguing that the contract is unjust, Armaan urges Abhira not to assign blame to his family. He assures her that the Poddars care for her deeply. However, Abhira perceives this as Kaveri’s doing to secure the contract.
She explains to Armaan her unwillingness to compromise her self-respect. As a result, Abhira becomes upset with Armaan once again. After injuring his finger, Armaan turns to Ruhi for help. As Ruhi is taken aback by the incident, Armaan seeks advice. However, Ruhi reminds him to prioritize his wound before approaching Abhira. Dismissing her suggestion, Armaan exclaims that he does not need her interference in matters concerning Abhira.
Meanwhile, Rohit witnesses the exchange and recalls how Armaan had helped Ruhi in the past, prompting her to reciprocate now. Upon seeing his injured hand, Rohit asks for a band-aid, but Armaan refuses and asks to be left alone. As Abhira ponders over the Poddar family’s actions, she fears that her love for Armaan may be compromised. One of her concerns is their contract which Kaveri might use later on to manipulate her. Kaveri tries to convince Abhira to sign the contract or else withdraw her name as a loan guarantor. Realizing Kaveri’s ulterior motive, Abhira stands firm in refusing to sign the contract at this point.
Ruhi urges Abhira to not give up on her dream for the sake of marriage. Abhira wonders why Ruhi is worried, to which Ruhi explains that she has recently begun working. In an attempt to comfort Abhira, Armaan steps in but is met with rude comments from Abhira. He immediately regrets bringing up the contract issue. Abhira judges his status and he storms out in anger. Despite her attempts to stop him, Armaan leaves abruptly and ends up getting into an accident, leaving Abhira in a state of shock.
