Jhanak 5th September 2024 Written Update

Jhanak 5th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak, Jhanak reminisces about a past moment. Anirudh, on the other hand, reflects on the good fortune of Appu’s family and how not everyone is as lucky. Jhanak acknowledges that time has moved on and there’s no going back now. She heads to a jewelry store to purchase a necklace, where coincidentally, Anirudh also shows up. He recalls being wrongly accused by Jhanak and regrets not being able to help her if she had only been truthful. Despite their efforts to avoid each other, Anirudh eventually confronts Jhanak, leading to an argument between them. He insists that she cannot prove anything against him, while she scolds him for his actions and cowardice in taking responsibility.

After their heated exchange, Jhanak leaves the store with Lalon getting ready as the groom for his wedding with Anuradha, who enquires about Kajal. Chimli informs her that Kajal did not show up. Meanwhile, Jhanak returns home with the necklace for Appu and gets into a disagreement about how she acquired it with Tanuja before Appu expresses her liking for the piece of jewelry. Appu calls out to Anjana, who asks if she is hungry and offers to get her food. Appu declines, stating that she will not eat rice today as it is considered bad luck for Lalon. She also mentions that even if she is feeling weak, she will postpone eating until after her marriage. Appu then shows a necklace to Anjana, which prompts Rumi to comment on Appu’s good fortune.

Anjana agrees and expresses happiness for her elder sister, but Rumi clarifies that she was referring to the expensive gift Appu received. Jhanak humbly states that she couldn’t afford such a costly present and adds that Appu holds a special place in her heart. Meanwhile, Lalon goes to call Kajal for the wedding and she informs him that she will not attend. He asks if she is angry with him, but Kajal explains that as the bride, he should focus on his wedding day and not worry about her. However, Lalon insists on her presence and shares his concern for her well-being since they have known each other since childhood.

Reluctantly, Kajal declines again citing personal reasons as Tanuja enters the conversation accusing Jhanak. Rumi mocks Jhanak about her savings, commenting on how quickly she has managed to capture Aditya Kapoor’s attention, crediting her talent and previous living arrangements. Jhanak retaliates, telling her to be quiet. Tanuja interjects, scolding Jhanak for her words and asking how she could dare say such things. In response, Jhanak points out the way Tanuja’s daughter is speaking to her. Tanuja reminds Jhanak that they have heard various negative things about her, causing Jhanak to become angry.
