YRKKH 7th September 2024 Written Update Manish cued. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri informs Armaan that Abhira is crying in the outhouse, leading them to worry that something serious might have happened. Armaan is particularly concerned for Abhira’s well-being. However, Abhira surprises everyone by confidently announcing her plans for an upcoming function. Kaveri questions her about the financial arrangements, and Abhira explains that her parents, Akshara and Abhinav, had saved money for her future. This assurance shocks Kaveri, while Aryan expresses his delight, noting that Abhira has finally taken charge of hosting the function. Despite the confidence she displays, Armaan remains suspicious, believing Abhira may still be hiding some trouble.
As the event begins, Abhira is in awe of the Poddars, who have arrived dressed in traditional Himachali attire. Vidya informs her that Manish is on his way. Meanwhile, Ruhi grows jealous, thinking Abhira is trying to get closer to Manish, and chooses to avoid the function. Abhira introduces the Poddars to Akshara and Abhinav, hoping to honor their memory. Kaveri prays that Akshara and Abhinav continue to bless Abhira from wherever they are, and Abhira herself is visibly emotional, missing her family deeply.
Manish, Swarna, and Surekha soon arrive at the function. Manish feels a strange sense of Akshara’s presence, though he doesn’t know why. Swarna, however, urges him to focus on Ruhi and not to dwell on the past. During the festivities, Vidya asks Abhira to explain the significance of the traditional Nathh-wearing ritual. Abhira promises to pray before performing the ritual and eventually helps Vidya wear the Nathh. During this time, Manish almost stumbles upon a picture of Akshara and Abhinav but fails to notice it.
Abhira asks Kaveri to complete the Nathh-wearing ritual, putting her on the spot. With encouragement from Armaan, Kaveri reluctantly agrees and helps Abhira wear the nose ring. Afterward, Abhira declares that she has won over Kaveri, cautioning her never to bring up the contract deal again. This infuriates Kaveri, though she doesn’t retaliate at the moment.
Vidya then requests Abhira to light the ceremonial lamp, a significant part of the tradition. Manish steps in to help her with the task, and this moment causes Abhira to recall her first meeting with him, bringing back memories of the bond they’ve shared. After lighting the lamp, Manish questions Abhira about the nose-ring ritual and her family heritage. Abhira proudly tells him that her father, Abhinav, was from Kasauli. Manish, intrigued, asks about her mother. Abhira reveals that her mother, Akshara, kept much of her past a secret, leaving her own history somewhat mysterious. This piques Manish’s curiosity, and he pushes further, asking for more details about Akshara, but Abhira doesn’t provide any further information.
As the event continues, Kiara, Charu, Krish, and Aryan encourage Abhira to join them in dancing. She enthusiastically agrees and dances alongside the Poddars, immersing herself in the celebrations. However, while dancing, Abhira accidentally bumps into Ruhi, who has been avoiding her throughout the event.
