Jhanak 8th September 2024 Written Update

Jhanak 8th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak, Lalon and Appu exchange garlands during their wedding ceremony. Dadi reminds Lalon to take care of Appu, and Chimli lightheartedly remarks about how much fun they’ll have now that their mother will handle the household work. Appu agrees. As they head to the mandap, Anjana gets emotional, and Bablu comforts her, reminding her that Appu isn’t going far, though Anjana feels sad about her leaving. She expresses disappointment that while she had no expectations from Tanuja, Shubh should have shown more love to Appu earlier.

Appu and Lalon sit at the mandap, and Appu asks Jhanak to stay by her side, which Jhanak promises to do. They joke and bond, with Jhanak, playfully calling herself Appu’s younger sister. As the wedding progresses, the police suddenly arrive, startling everyone. The inspector informs Bablu that they are there to arrest Lalon, leaving the family in shock. Chimli protests, noting that the marriage isn’t complete yet. Shubh arrives and questions the inspector, who claims there is a complaint against Lalon for theft.

Lalon denies any involvement in the theft, but the inspector insists that they have a warrant. Chimli urgently calls Anuradha, telling her to come quickly with Kajal because the police are there to arrest Lalon. Jhanak defends Lalon, but the inspector continues with the arrest. Shrishti questions whether the family would still allow Appu to marry Lalon, calling him a thief, which causes Arshi to turn against Lalon. However, Anirudh stands up for him, arguing that Lalon is not a thief.

Appu is distraught, believing Lalon’s innocence. Lalon accuses Shubh of framing him, but Shubh denies it, claiming he is happy with the marriage. Anuradha and Kajal arrive and try to convince the inspector of Lalon’s innocence. Anuradha explains that Lalon’s father was a lawyer and that their current hardships are due to betrayal, not dishonesty. Kajal rallies the neighborhood to defend Lalon, and the people threaten to protest and burn down the police station if the arrest proceeds.

Despite the tension, the inspector insists on following the law, ignoring the threats from the crowd. Appu, in tears, consoles herself by saying she will stand by Lalon. In a moment of solidarity, Lalon fills Appu’s hairline with sindoor, completing part of their marriage ritual. Meanwhile, Anirudh continues to question Shubh’s involvement, while Shubh warns him to stay out of the matter. Tanuja assures that the police will release Lalon.

As the situation escalates, Choton argues that no one should be labeled a criminal without proof, and Jhanak and others vow to accompany Lalon to the police station, asserting that they know their rights. Finally, the inspector plays a recording of Shubh’s complaint against Lalon, and everyone turns to see Shubh’s reaction.
