YRKKH 8th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira and Ruhi perform a synchronized Himachali dance during a family event. Abhira is impressed by Ruhi’s knowledge of the dance, and Ruhi recalls learning it from Akshara. Kiara and Charu ask Ruhi to help with their Pahadi dance, and Abhira playfully pulls Manish to the dance floor, but Ruhi quickly takes him away. Meanwhile, Arman and Abhira share a romantic moment in a secluded corner. Abhira worries they might be caught, but Arman teases her, saying that in a joint family, they have to steal moments like this. He tries to get close, but Abhira’s nose ring gets in the way. She jokes that the nose-ring tradition exists to keep the bride and groom apart before marriage.
Ruhi confronts Manish about attending Abhira’s function, expressing her discontent because of a past incident when Abhira slapped her. Manish defends Abhira and explains that their family has ties with the Poddars, which is why he’s attending the event. Ruhi is still upset and orders Manish not to attend Abhira’s wedding. Abhira and Arman continue their romance, while Manish remains unaware of Akshara and Abhinav’s picture nearby. Abhira senses that Ruhi might be troubling Manish, but he hides his feelings from her. Worried, Abhira senses that something bad might happen.
Manish decides to leave the function due to his growing unease. However, before leaving, he returns to find Swarna and Surekha. There, he is shocked to see a picture of Akshara and Abhinav and realizes that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter. Overwhelmed with emotion at the thought of Akshara being gone, Manish grows restless. Abhira continues to sense that something bad is about to happen, and Arman tries to console her.
Kaveri says that Abhira will be hosting another function and commends her for successfully organizing the nath-wearing ritual. She explains the significance of the ritual and asks Abhira to bring her family to the next event. Meanwhile, Sanjay and Kaveri believe that Abhira will fail. Determined, Abhira makes up her mind to prove them wrong and win Kaveri’s challenge.
