Today in Udne Ki Aasha, The police officer orders Paresh’s family to remain at the police station until Riya returns home, confusing everyone with his odd and disrespectful behavior. The officer mistreats Paresh’s family, leaving Renuka anxious after receiving threats from him. Meanwhile, Roshni plans to hire a good lawyer to prove Paresh’s innocence, and Renuka turns to Tejas for help, but he proves to be ineffective. Renuka then demands that Tejas bring Sachin, believing he can resolve the situation. Sayali arrives at the police station, pleading with the officer to release Paresh, but he warns her that nothing can be done to help her father-in-law. Sayali is forced to wait outside, where she angrily blames Juhi for the situation. Juhi, in turn, admits that she knows nothing about the newlywed couple.
Despite the family’s pleas, the police arrest Paresh and put him in jail. Renuka begs for his release, but the officer ignores her. Sachin has been accused of misconduct and labeled as a troublemaker by the police at the station. He pleads with them to release his father, assuring them of his innocence. The officers inform him that Akash must personally appear here for that to happen. Sachin turns to Sayali and asks her to contact Akash and bring him here. Unfortunately, the police reveal that Sayali was a witness to Akash and Riya’s marriage. Sachin then urges Sayali to explain what took place without his knowledge in their home. His mother holds Sayali responsible for all of their problems, blaming her for causing chaos and tearing their family apart since she came into their lives.
She even accuses Sayali of orchestrating Paresh’s arrest and arranging their son’s wedding against their wishes. Sachin inquires if Sayali’s signature is in the register, stating he doesn’t want to hear anything else. Sayali confirms it is indeed her signature. Despite her attempts to explain something to Sachin, he refuses to listen and even becomes physical by pushing her away. He sternly declares that he doesn’t want to hear anything from her anymore. The police inform Joy and Mamta that they initially came with a kidnapping case, but it appears their daughter willingly married Akash.
However, Joy and Mamta insist that Akash may have coerced or threatened their daughter into marriage. Joy goes as far as threatening the inspector, invoking the name of the commissioner, demanding that they locate their daughter and return her to them immediately. Sachin pleads with the inspector to release his father, as he was unaware of the situation and it was his brother who committed the fraud. Meanwhile, Riya and Akash arrive at her friend’s house. Overcome with joy, she embraces Akash and expresses her happiness that their dream has finally come true – they are now married.
She reassures him that no one can come between them anymore. However, noticing Akash’s somber expression, Riya inquires about the reason behind it. He explains that he is concerned about Sayali since they initially promised to return home but ended up here instead. Riya confidently assures him that Sayali is a clever individual and will be able to handle the situation well. She encourages him to embrace this moment and enjoy the day, as not doing so would result in regrets later on. Juhi expresses her remorse to Sayali for the events that occurred, attributing them to her role in Akash and Riya’s marriage. She plans to take responsibility by admitting her involvement.
Sayali urges her not to take any action as she wants to avoid further complications. The police officer inquires if Sayali is the one who facilitated the marriage due to her respectable appearance. She clarifies that had she known about the consequences, she would have intervened. Unfortunately, the wedding was already solemnized by the time she arrived at the temple. Desperately, she pleads with the officer to release Paresh but he declines. His only solution is for Akash and Riya themselves to confess their mutual agreement to get married. He advises Sayali to locate them and bring them before him.
