YRKKH 10th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira holds onto Manish, who closes his eyes. She expresses her disapproval, saying that he is already quite striking, and questions why he needs to seek more attention. As they have come, she asks if he is now satisfied and urges him to get up. When he glances at her, she offers him comfort while Swarna remembers his previous words. A doctor arrives and reports that the ambulance has arrived, inquiring about the cause of the incident. Abhira replies that it’s their secret and the doctor agrees to dispatch the ambulance. Abhira proceeds to sing a lullaby while Surekha expresses gratitude towards her for her help.
Abhira then asks if she should stay, but Armaan assures her that he will bring her back if needed. Swarna intervenes and requests Abhira not to inform Ruhi as she gets easily distressed. Abhira keeps their request. After arriving home, Kaveri congratulates Armaan and Abhira on their successful function and hands them a prize. While looking through some notes, Kaveri explains that Abhira will be managing the rasam tomorrow and mentions the tradition of exchanging gifts between the families. Kiara asks if they will receive a gift as well, to which Kaveri responds that it depends on Abhira.
Armaan interjects, expressing his concern for Abhira’s difficult situation, but Kaveri assures them that she has her parents’ blessings and is capable of handling the rasam. Abhira thanks her for her support and confirms that both rasam will take place the next day. Everyone applauds as Kaveri adds that there is one small detail – the girl’s family must also be present for the rasam. This causes Sanjay to point out that Abhira does not have any family to invite. Realizing her mistake, Kaveri turns to Armaan and questions how he can fulfill this requirement as he is not Abhira’s maayka (parental home). However, Armaan disagrees and asserts that he is indeed her family. Kaveri insists that since Abhira has already stated she will handle it.
Kaveri says this is the final battle for Abhira and herself and she believes that she will emerge victorious. However, Abhira confidently declares that she will not be defeated. Inquiring about the presents, Kaveri turns to Abhira and Manish explains that they are gifts from her maternal family. Upon hearing this, Abhira is taken aback. Armaan and Abhira get happy. Sanjay inquires Kaveri about confronting Abhira. He mentions that Armaan will ultimately be by Abhira’s side. However, Kaveri disagrees and points out that Armaan cannot fulfill the role of Abhira’s family. Sanjay remains optimistic and suggests that Abhira will somehow find a way to handle the situation. Nevertheless, Kaveri firmly states that Abhira can never buy a family. Armaan inquires about Abhira’s family, and she reveals that Akshara never mentioned anything about them. Offering assistance, Armaan suggests helping Abhira uncover information about Akshara’s family.
However, Abhira explains that Akshara purposely kept her away from their relatives and she intends to maintain her distance. Undeterred, Armaan persists in encouraging Abhira to locate her family. Kaveri says that Abhira’s vulnerability lies in her family. With this knowledge, she intends to exploit it to her advantage. Curious, Sanjay inquires about the outcome of Kaveri’s plan. In response, Kaveri reveals her intention to gain power over Abhira. As the showdown with Abhira approaches, Kaveri patiently awaits her chance. Throughout this ordeal, Sanjay remains loyal and supportive of Kaveri’s actions.
Abhira is angry at the thought that her family has made no effort to reach out to her. She suspects that Akshara may have purposely kept her away from them. Despite Armaan’s inquiry about a ritual, Abhira remains disinterested in reconnecting with her family. Meanwhile, Ruhi attempts to contact Manish, but Abhira stops her and insists on handling the ritual on her own. As Ruhi expresses concern about Manish, Armaan takes Abhira’s side and agrees to keep her away from him. Ruhi defends Abhira and warns Armaan not to let her near Manish again.
Kaveri tasks Abhira with performing the ritual, but Sanjay and Vidya criticize her for participating without a family. However, Armaan stands by her side. Eventually, Kaveri decides to cancel the function. Afterward, Manish arrives at the Poddar house with gifts on behalf of Abhira. Sanjay makes another snide comment about Abhira manipulating Manish into completing the ritual, leading to a heated confrontation between Manish and Sanjay. The topic of discussion then shifts to Manish’s relationship with Abhira. Manish drops a bombshell – Abhira is Akshara’s daughter.
Both Abhira and Ruhi are in complete disbelief. Manish proceeds to reveal the truth about Abhira’s identity, causing Ruhi to lash out and physically attack her. Accusing Akshara of being a murderer, Ruhi is quickly stopped by Manish, who pleads with her to stop blaming Abhira. After learning why Akshara had kept her distance from the Goenkas, Abhira refuses to face Ruhi. However, this only fuels Ruhi’s fire as she accuses Abhira of stealing Armaan away from her. In a heartbreaking turn of events, Abhira makes the difficult decision to call off her marriage with Armaan. The stress takes a toll on Ruhi’s health, worsening her condition.
