Jhanak 10th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak, Lal and Shubh inquire about the situation. Bhattacharya reveals that the voice in the recording belongs to none other than Shubh. He explains his actions, stating that he had to do what he did to reveal the true culprit. Shubh expresses doubt, suggesting that the recording could have been manipulated. Bhattacharya then shares his personal story, revealing that Pranay has helped him in many ways and that he is indebted to him as a mentor and a father figure.
Lalon, being moved by Bhattacharya’s words, sheds tears of gratitude. Shubh claims it’s incorrect. Bhattacharya questions whether he should arrest Shubh. Shubh inquires if he knows whom he is referring to. Anirudh asks their father if he is responsible for the situation. Bablu accuses him of purposely trying to harm Appu’s life. Shubh denies the allegations. Jhanak counters by stating that it is the truth, expressing disappointment in Shubh’s actions and questioning his motives for ruining someone’s life just because they belong to a different social class. She turns to Lalon and asks what his intentions are towards Shubh. Bhattacharya inquires from Lalon about his desire for revenge against Shubh and suggests arresting him.
However, Lalon declines, expressing how his father was betrayed by loved ones. Bhattacharya reveals he has information on those responsible, but proposes discussing it another time before asking again if he should arrest Shubh. Once more, Lalon refuses, stating that Appu’s uncle is now considered family and he cannot harm them. Bhattacharya offers an apology and promises to attend Lalon’s reception while assuring his support until the end. Anuradha expresses gratitude towards him as they prepare to leave at his request. Appu joyfully jumps around as Anuradha credits her sindoor for their current happiness. They exit the scene together.
Bhattacharya cautions Shubh, claiming to know those who have caused harm to Lalon’s family. Shubh takes his leave. Jhanak then requests to speak with him at Appu’s function, stating the need for an important discussion. Bhattacharya agrees and she expresses her gratitude. Anirudh apologizes to Jhanak, acknowledging that his father may not deserve respect. Jhanak clarifies that she holds no personal grudge against Bhattacharya and only wishes for Appu and Lalon’s happiness, ensuring that she will leave after their wedding.
As everyone arrives home, Dadi inquires about Shubh’s well-being. Appu responds by mentioning Lalon’s arrest, who then expresses his desire to take Appu home and complete the necessary rituals there. He considers himself fortunate for having the police commissioner as his father’s acquaintance. Eager to know more, Dadi asks for details while Tanuja remains confused. Shrishti wonders if Jhanak played a role in this situation, but Anirudh defends her, prompting Arshi to question Shubh’s actions. However, Lalon suggests it is best not to delve into it further.
Bablu intervenes and advises Lalon to stop discussing the matter. Anuradha voices her wish to go home, causing Shrishti to pass a sarcastic remark towards her. Irritated by this response, Anuradha tells her off and Jhanak tries to diffuse the situation by refocusing on finding the culprit responsible for her husband’s death. She believes that those who wronged Lalon’s father are responsible and expresses a willingness to help if she had stayed back. Bablu suggests they have a meal. Lalon declines, saying they can go back home and eat. He then adds that he feels his father is being disrespected and mentions how hard his mother has worked to raise them. “I may be poor, but I am not a criminal,” he states, reminding everyone that criminals can come from wealthy families as well.
Tanuja requests Bipasha to call Shubh, wanting to understand why he made these accusations and where he found the courage to do so. Bipasha leaves to make the call. In the meantime, Rumi and Mimi arrive and inform everyone that Shubh has locked himself in a room. Lalon notes that this confirms his suspicion – Shubh was trying to frame him and send him to jail. Anirudh apologizes on behalf of his parents. Tanuja confirms that Shubh is not responsible for the manipulation of the audio. Shubh arrives and explains that he had no intention to deceive anyone and only wanted what was best for Appu. Anirudh interrupts him, reminding him not to say anything in front of Jhanak.
Ignoring Anirudh’s warning, Shubh reveals that Lalon, who is related to the commissioner, was behind the framing. Jhanak smirks at Shubh’s words, causing Shrishti to question her. Disregarding their comments, Jhanak mockingly taunts Shubh about his actions and suggests that he deserves to have his license cancelled. Outraged by her statements, Shubh demands to know how she has the audacity to accuse him like this. He turns to Shrishti and orders her to slap Jhanak, but Anirudh intervenes, stating that neither of them has the guts for such an act. He declares that he stands for justice and truth and expresses disappointment in Shubh’s actions.
