YRKKH 12th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi refers to Abhira as a drama queen who seeks everyone’s attention by acting pitiable. She confronts her for taking Manish away. She mentions that although Abhira was once an orphan, she now considers herself one. Accusing Abhira of something, she is asked by Abhira to understand that Manish is her grandfather. Manish himself asks Ruhi if she believes he cannot love both his daughters. Refusing to accept Abhira, Ruhi decides to leave both Manish and Abhira.
This worries Abhira as she does not want to hurt Ruhi, but also does not want to connect with Manish. He then asks her to prepare for the sangeet and takes it upon himself to handle the situation with Ruhi, as he believes Akshara had called him about Abhira. Manish is determined to take responsibility for Abhira and refuses to hide his identity from her. Meanwhile, Swarna is upset. She confronts Manish about his support for Abhira, to which he defends himself. Swarna points out that Ruhi’s fear of losing her family is due to Manish’s actions. She reminds him that not only Abhira, but Ruhi also lost her parents and is an orphan.
Feeling upset, Swarna decides to leave the room. Manish promises not to let Ruhi suffer for the sake of Abhira and insists on giving Abhira her fair share. Abhira is feeling overwhelmed as Armaan continues to flirt with her and even suggests she express her sadness. He becomes even more affectionate, showering her with kisses. However, amidst all this, Abhira is preoccupied with concerns about her impending wedding. She confides in Armaan that not everyone is satisfied with their marriage.
As they discuss the situation, Armaan mentions that Kaveri seems to be getting upset. In an attempt to lighten the mood, Abhira suggests making Kaveri dance at their sangeet. Unfortunately, Kaveri overhears this and declines the offer. As the Poddars prepare for the sangeet, unexpected rain sets in. Unfortunately, due to the downpour, Kaveri decides to cancel the event when Manish points out their inability to reach the venue. To make matters worse, Abhira and Armaan’s car breaks down.
In a kind gesture, Madhav offers for Armaan to join someone else’s vehicle. However, this leads to both Abhira and Armaan getting soaked in the rain. Frustrated by the situation, Kaveri accuses Abhira of causing the heavy rainfall. In defense, Armaan asks Kaveri to refrain from unfairly blaming Abhira.
