Jhanak 14th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak written update, Kajal wants to leave Lalon’s house but is asked to stay a bit longer. Appu, though very sleepy, has to finish the welcoming rituals. Lalon’s sister demands money before letting him enter the house, but when he refuses, his mother explains it’s part of an Indian wedding tradition. Anuradha, Lalon’s mother, asks Kajal to stay longer to keep her company and arranges a music program to keep everyone entertained for the night.
The neighbors warmly welcome Appu, and Lalon praises his wife. However, Kajal feels upset because she has feelings for Lalon, which he doesn’t notice. She tries to leave without eating, but Appu convinces her to stay.
In the afternoon, Jhanak visits before leaving for Mumbai. She urges Lalon and Anuradha to investigate the truth about Lalon’s father, warning them of future trouble. Later, Mrinalini and Anirudh also visit, and Appu is thrilled to see her family. Jhanak is convinced to stay the night. Two of Lalon’s friends, Meghla and Adrija, also arrive, and they reminisce about their childhood. Anuradha introduces Appu’s family to them, and they recognize Jhanak as a famous dancer.
Jhanak 14th September 2024 Written Update:
Meghla sings while Jhanak dances. As she looks around, her gaze falls upon Anirudh. The audience gives a round of applause, and Jhanak compliments Meghla’s singing. Adrija adds that she only sings and everyone continues to shower her with compliments. Anuradha then introduces Appu as Meghla’s sister-in-law and suggests that she should visit more often as Appu also has a talent for singing. Meghla acknowledges this and mentions how Lalon had told her about it before. Meanwhile, Kajal brings sindoor and a saree, which Anuradha instructs Jhimli to give to Lalon. It is part of tradition where Lalon will take responsibility for Appu by giving her the shagun. Lalon promises Appu that he will always take care of her responsibilities, leaving everyone smiling with joy.
Kajal expresses her anger while Anuradha requests Appu to take blessings from Lalon. Without hesitation, Appu does so and receives a hug from Kajal before the latter announces she will be leaving since the ceremony is over. Meghla bids her farewell and inquires about her destination. Jhanak reveals she plans on working in Mumbai, though nothing is certain yet. Choton offers to drop Jhanak off, but she declines, insisting on taking a cab instead. Anirudh insists he takes her home but she politely declines, stating that she only wanted one thing from them – their love. She embraces Appu and Mrinalini before leaving with Choton.
Appu reunites with her family, who all greet her with warm smiles. She admires Anuradha and mentions how much she missed living without her sister Anjana. Bablu compliments Appu’s beauty and Dadi requests Lalon to bring her home, but he declines, causing Dadi to apologize for any offense she may have caused. Anuradha persuades Lalon to reconsider, promising not to ask him again in the future. Meanwhile, Anjana asks Appu if she has eaten yet and introduces Kajal to her and the others. Dadi shares that she arranged Choton and Mrinalini’s marriage but now he wants to leave Kolkata for work, so she asked Mrinalini to stop him. Appu then offers to handle the marriage arrangements, earning a smile from everyone.
He addresses Mrinalini about her previous anger towards Choton. Jhanak is fondly remembered by all but Anirudh’s arrival brings back cheerful vibes as Appu hugs his beloved brother and calls him her best brother, despite feeling upset with him for hurting Jhanak. Choton gets angry and Bablu intervenes, while also mentioning how he dropped Jhanak off at the airport and understands what she must be going through. Bhattacharya arrives and is told by Anuradha and Lalon that he has done a lot of preparations for the wedding. Bhattacharya humbly requests them, acknowledging that he hasn’t been around much as their guardian in the past few years but blesses Appu and gives her a gift which she loves – a stunning necklace. Appu’s mother questions its expensive cost but Bhattacharya reveals that Appu is like his own daughter.
As Meghla and Adrija arrive, Anuradha proceeds to introduce them. Appu then suggests that Meghla and Lalon team up for a song. Agreeing to the idea, Meghla responds with enthusiasm. Appu adds that by singing together, they could become as famous as Jhanak. Lalon confirms this statement. However, Adrija takes a jab at both Meghla and Appu. Everyone appears angered at her mean words.
