Jhanak 16th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak written update, Adrija taunts Meghla and Appu, which leads to an argument with Choton. Appu and Lalon perform a song together, while Kajal becomes emotional. Choton shares his plan to leave for Assam for a job, but someone questions if he’s leaving because of their memories. Meghla sings on stage, receiving applause, though Adrija is displeased.
Meanwhile, Jhanak experiences severe stomach pain as Aditya arrives at her house. He notices she looks unwell and asks if Anirudh accepts her. Jhanak dismisses the issue, but Aditya confesses his love, saying that while he knows she loves Anirudh, he wants to support her. He offers to accept and raise her child, even if Anirudh doesn’t. However, Jhanak insists that she will manage as a single mother and prefers to keep their relationship as friends. Hurt, Aditya agrees, but when Jhanak suddenly faints from the pain, he rushes her to the hospital, fearing for her health.
In the precap, Aditya calls Anirudh, informing him that Jhanak’s condition has worsened, and she has been admitted to the hospital. He urges Anirudh to come to Mumbai quickly. Anirudh immediately decides to go, though he is unsure how to explain his urgency. He contemplates lying to protect Jhanak’s situation as he prepares to leave.
Jhanak 16th September 2024 Written Update:
Aditya brings Jhanak to the hospital and calls for the doctor. He inquires if this pain is a recurring issue, to which she responds that it also occurred in Kolkata and she had no idea it would happen again. Aditya assures her that everything will be alright, reiterating how he cannot leave her alone at the hotel. He asks if she would do the same if their roles were reversed. She expresses her worries about Anirudh’s lack of support and how he may want to leave her because of the baby’s condition. Aditya reassures her, saying that this is not the case. She insists that she can sense it, recalling how her mother made sacrifices for her love.
Aditya promises to take care of all treatment costs and encourages her not to worry about his investment in her future success, reminding her that she is destined for great things. She responds with frustration as to why she must endure such difficulties, having no knowledge of who her father is as well as losing both parents’ love. Aditya comforts her, promising that she will eventually learn who her father is and he will apologize for his absence.
Lalon calls for a pause in the rasams as it is time for Appu to take his medicine. Kajal promptly retrieves the medicine for Appu who takes it and expresses feeling drowsy. The lady then reminds him that he and Lalon are to exchange garlands and enjoy some sweets afterwards. Appu happily agrees, mentioning his love for sweets. Lalon notices the women giggling at Appu and compliments him, urging them to discontinue the rasams. However, Kajal suggests they leave so that Appu can rest, but the ladies insist on continuing with the festivities. Lalon argues with some women while Kajal reminds Appu that as his wife, she should treat him with respect. Kajal makes Appu perform some weird rasams that demeans Appu. Lalon feels bad.
Jhanak inquires of Aditya how he can speak with such certainty. Aditya recalls Rudra’s words and insists that he simply said the truth. Jhanak then questions what use an apology will serve her, to which Aditya responds that she will receive what is rightfully hers and asks her to trust him. She expresses uncertainty about the day’s events and proposes a hypothetical situation where she may die but her baby survives. She then requests Aditya to take care of the child and give it a good life, revealing that she previously declined his offer but now implores him to fulfill this request for the sake of their child. Aditya agrees, promising to not only take care of the baby but also give it his name. He admits that he knows she doesn’t like him, but declares his love for her and his readiness to accept her child as his own. Jhanak notes that one only truly loves once in life and confesses her love for Anirudh.
Aditya brings Jhanak inside and immediately requests for the nurse’s speedy assistance. The women urge Appu to bow to Lalon while Kajal overhears their chatter and defends Lalon’s love for Appu, insisting that their words hold no power. She then tells them to leave. The doctor inquires about Jhanak’s condition as the nurse helps her lie down. Jhanak explains her stomach ache and Aditya proceeds to fill out the necessary forms. He also asks if he can enter the emergency ward, to which the lady approves with a warning that there may be ongoing diagnoses.
Meanwhile, Lalon offers Kajal some sweets but she dismisses it, reminding him to wrap things up quickly as she has school tomorrow. Kajal then instructs Appu and Lalon to exchange garlands, which they do while she tearfully looks on. The doctor reveals that Jhanak is pregnant and asks how far along she is. Jhanak responds with three months and the doctor asks for her test results before admitting her for further examinations to understand her situation. Aditya arrives and enquires about Jhanak, only to be told that further tests are needed as the doctor suspects the pregnancy is true. This shocks Jhanak.
Lalon and Appu have some sweets, and Appu invites Kajal to stay a little longer. Kajal declines, but promises to come back tomorrow. As she’s about to leave, Lalon kindly insists that she have something to eat first. Kajal eventually leaves, while Appu remarks that she may be mad at him because she loves him so much. Lalon agrees and compliments Kajal as a great girl who is not upset with either of them. Overhearing their conversation, Kajal cries softly to herself. Lalon sings a song on Appu’s request. While asleep, he kisses her briefly, causing her to stir awake and ask if he did in fact kiss her.
He reassures her by saying it was just a friendly gesture like the ones her mother would do for her which made her feel loved; she then urges him sweetly to sing more of his lullaby. Kajal feels upset. Aditya voices that Jhanak is not pregnant. The doctor expresses the need to clear any doubts and proceed with conducting tests by admitting her. Aditya shows gratitude for this and requests for the best private ward for Jhanak. However, Jhanak declines. Aditya then asks her to wait while she frets over the situation.
