Jhanak 18th September 2024 Written Update. Today in Jhanak written update, Aditya informs Anirudh of Jhanak’s medical condition – she has a significant tumour in her stomach. Anirudh, concerned, asks about the seriousness of the operation. Aditya confirms that it is indeed severe and reiterates that Jhanak had only asked him to inform Anirudh. He asks him to not lie to Arshi and come see her himself. He ends the call abruptly. Arshi enquires about the call and Anirudh reveals that Aditya had informed him about Jhanak’s tumor and emphasized that it was not a pregnancy. She questions why Aditya would call him for this news.
Anirudh explains that he is leaving for Mumbai tomorrow, to which an upset Arshi retorts by threatening to leave before he comes back. Despite her protest, he maintains that he must be there for Jhanak as it is his responsibility as a friend. She accuses him of being willing to let their relationship suffer for it, but he insists on going. She demands an explanation from him, stating that she does not believe he is simply a well-wisher for Jhanak. He stands firm and claims his duty towards her outweighs anything. When Shrishti answers Arshi’s call, she immediately inquires about her well-being.
After learning that something is wrong, she asks for details: what happened and when will Jhanak leave? Arshi explains the situation and mentions that Anirudh left his phone behind. Shrishti decides to take action and warns Arshi not to let him go to Mumbai to meet Jhanak, or else he should be prepared for the consequences. Meanwhile, Vinayak asks about Jhanak’s condition, but Shrishti is unsure and suggests he go to sleep while she handles the situation herself. He expresses concern for her since she is pregnant and alone in the hospital, but Shrishti clarifies that her lover, Aditya, is by her side. However, Vinayak doubts this story and insists on focusing on saving Jhanak’s life rather than worrying about who fathered her child. Despite his disapproval, Shrishti stands firm in her beliefs.
Vinayak calls Anirudh, but Arshi takes the call. She expresses her frustration with Anirudh’s indecisiveness and the need for a resolution. Vinayak inquires about the matter and Arshi reveals that Anirudh needs to choose between Jhanak and herself. She shares her exhaustion with this back-and-forth situation and how she desires peace in her life. Vinayak agrees and asks for more information, but Arshi mentions it is too late as he should have spoken to Anirudh earlier. Upon hearing this, Vinayak explains that Shrishti prevented him from doing so, but she cannot disclose the reason for her actions. Instead, she invites Arshi to come home and informs Guru ji of Jhanak’s location at a hospital with Aditya. This news worries Vinayak, who ponders on how to protect Jhanak from them and what actions he can take.
As the morning begins, Aditya updates Jhanak on his conversation with Anirudh and extends his well wishes for her operation. Curious, Jhanak inquires if Aditya had a chance to speak with Anirudh. Without hesitation, he affirms that he did indeed talk to Anirudh, however, he wonders if Jhanak is interested in the specifics of their exchange. Jhanak declines and Aditya continues to explain that although Anirudh did not explicitly confirm his attendance, he believes that Anirudh will ultimately show up for the surgical procedure. Jhanak raises doubts about whether or not Anirudh would put aside his personal matters to be present, but Aditya assures her that he explained the urgency of the situation and even had Anirudh sign a document as confirmation.
Despite this assurance, Jhanak expresses that it is unnecessary and she regrets having such high expectations for Anirudh. Meanwhile, Lalon prepares for work and comments on how Appu has brought him good luck as clients are willing to wait for their orders. Concerned about her well-being, Jhimli points out that Appu seems tired and suggests she takes rest.
As Appu overhears their conversation, she wakes up and requests Lalon to return in the afternoon as she will miss him. However, he declines, citing his workload. Aditya tries to uplift Jhanak’s spirits by assuring her that she should not be afraid of death or her critical condition. She adds that they may never have the chance to meet again and this is something she wants him to know. Appu becomes upset with Lalon for refusing to stay longer. Anuradha then prepares food for both Appu and Lalon, while he chooses not to eat as he has already had his meal.
Anuradha lovingly feeds Lalon with her hands, making Appu laugh and tease him. Lalon defends his mother’s gesture by saying that she will always take care of him. Anuradha adds that she is also Appu’s mother and happily feeds her too, which brings a smile to Appu’s face. Aditya accuses Jhanak of being selfish while she argues back, stating that she holds a special place in her heart for Anirudh as he means a lot to her. He questions how she can love someone who neither loves nor respects her, but she responds by stating her love. He encourages her to stay strong and get well to live a normal life soon.
In the upcoming episode, Anirudh reaches Mumbai and takes a cab to the hospital. Anirudh is on his way, quickly opening the car door. He mentions that he needs to go to the temple to pray for Jhanak and is in a rush. Exiting the car, he expresses his love for Jhanak and assures her safety before hurrying off to the hospital. He rushes to meet her, while she is seen crying while lying in the hospital bed.
