According to Manoj, their marriage was forced and Arjun’s claims are false. Refusing to listen to Arjun’s side, Manoj urges Megha to tell the truth. However, Arjun counters by revealing that their love story began five years ago when Megha was only 17 and it was love at first sight for them. He clarifies that this was not Manoj’s fault since he does not remember due to the circumstances of their relationship – Megha’s mother being a constable and his father an SSP, leading to different societal norms.
Despite facing opposition and wanting to marry, they eventually tied the knot when she turned 18. But Manoj is adamant about Arjun lying and presents evidence against him, while Arjun also has some proof in his defense. Shalini cautions that if this plan fails, Megha could be punished severely. Arjun provides evidence, but Manoj accuses him of lying. Arjun insists that he is telling the truth. As tensions escalate, Manoj scolds Megha and Arjun warns him to back off or face consequences.
Manoj retreats, and Arjun asserts that Megha did not marry Manoj as she is a drug addict and mentally unstable, unable to make her own decisions. He reminds everyone that he and Megha were married first, making Manoj’s marriage invalid. The judge intervenes and asks for silence. Arjun brings up two key points – whether Megha is truly mentally ill and who is telling the truth between himself and Manoj. While Manoj claims Megha takes drugs and was forced into marriage, Arjun maintains that she is his wife and it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t recall their marriage due to her condition. If Megha is not crazy or on drugs, then it means Manoj falsely accused her.
However, when Manoj mentions Megha breaking out of prison, Arjun questions the validity of everything else he has claimed. Ultimately, Arjun declares that Megha is his wife and stands by her side as she cries in distress. Arjun states that Megha’s mental well-being is not stable. They have not been living together for a few years and he was unaware of her marriage to Manoj. However, he loves his wife deeply. He respectfully requests the judge to permit them to return to their country. He acknowledges that he needs to seek treatment for her and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
Shalini adds that Arjun and his family are protected by diplomatic immunity as he is here on official business. Goldie kindly declines their offer of money in exchange for the house. Dolly makes a snide remark towards Ranjeeta, but Surinder suggests talking later as they need to focus on getting money to save Megha. The judge notes that Arjun claims Megha as his wife and with their diplomatic immunity, they are entitled to go back home. Arjun expresses relief while Megha questions if it is right for him to lie and save her from Manoj. Megha remembers her encounter with Manoj.
