YRKKH 23rd September 2024 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Armaan meets with Ruhi, who stuns him by revealing that she has made all the arrangements to marry him. Completely shocked, Armaan questions what she is up to. Ruhi insists that Armaan should marry her, but he rejects the idea, asking if she has lost her mind. As Ruhi becomes more desperate, she starts emotionally blackmailing Armaan, trying to manipulate him into agreeing to marry her. Armaan, however, remains resolute, firmly confessing his love for Abhira. In a last-ditch effort to sway him, Ruhi pretends to attempt suicide, hoping her dramatic act will force him to change his mind. Armaan is left utterly stunned by her actions, torn between guilt and disbelief.
Back at the wedding, Sanjay pressures Manisha to reveal the truth to Abhira about Armaan’s whereabouts. When Abhira questions Manisha directly, Kaveri steps in and claims that Armaan has realized he can’t be happy with her, which is why he’s missing. Abhira, deeply hurt, refuses to accept this explanation, convinced that something else is going on. Madhav tries to console her, but Manish interrupts, accusing Armaan of abandoning Abhira just like he left Ruhi in the past. Ahead in the show, there is a dramatic confrontation between Armaan and Ruhi. Ruhi asks Armaan where he’s taking her, and he replies that it’s time for everyone to know about their love. However, Ruhi is anxious, believing the family won’t allow them to reunite. Armaan insists it’s necessary to tell them and be together forever, but Ruhi grows restless. Meanwhile, Kaveri is frustrated with Abhira, blaming her for being distracted and not helping the guests. Manisha accuses Ruhi of being unhappy with Armaan and Abhira’s wedding, which is why Ruhi has gone missing. Rohit defends Ruhi, but the argument escalates until Sanjay steps in, asking them to stop and expressing his anger at Armaan for constantly leaving the wedding.
Abhira searches for Armaan, and Manish asks Krish if he’s found her. Krish says no, then asks if Manish found Armaan. Manish warns that if he meets Armaan, things will get ugly. Abhira tries to call Armaan, but he ignores her. As Ruhi continues to express doubts about the family, Armaan tells her that they can never marry because of the family’s disapproval. He drives her to a cliff and proposes that they die together to be reunited. Ruhi, terrified, begs him to stop the car, but he refuses. Desperate, she jumps out while Armaan drives the car off the cliff.
Ruhi, crying, believes Armaan is dead, but he soon reappears, revealing that it was all a test to see if she truly loved him. He scolds Ruhi for not understanding love and confesses that his heart belongs to Abhira. Ruhi begs him to marry her instead, but Armaan decides to leave rather than be with her. He abandons Ruhi, who is left heartbroken and crying and returns to Abhira.
When Armaan meets Abhira, he asks if she thought he had left her. Abhira reassures him of her trust. However, Armaan notices her outfit and begins to suspect that Ruhi has her plans. Abhira is shocked when she sees Ruhi, but Armaan and Abhira return to the wedding venue together.
Ruhi is devastated, still recalling Armaan’s rejection. Abhira asks Armaan to keep what happened with Ruhi a secret. Manish blesses the couple, but Vidya is heartbroken, convinced that Armaan is on the verge of ruining his happiness. Kaveri encourages Vidya to attend the wedding, while Kajal points out that the time for the ceremony has already passed. Abhira wonders whether they should postpone the wedding.
