YRKKH 2nd October 2024 Written Update Birthday twist. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, It’s Vidya’s birthday celebration. Goenkas also grace the party. Rohit feeds the cake to Vidya. Armaan reaches there and stops Vidya from eating the cake. He tells Vidya that Abhira had added walnuts to the cake unknowingly. Vidya learns that Abhira has baked the cake for her. She scolds Abhira for participating in her birthday arrangements. She gets bitter-tongued and lashes at them. She says that Armaan and Abhira aren’t her children, just Rohit and Ruhi are her children and she loves only them. Armaan gets upset and leaves the party when Vidya tells him that Armaan and Abhira aren’t invited to the party.
Abhira rushes after Armaan. They get into an argument over Vidya’s anger issues. Armaan asks Abhira not to try to mend anything, as it’s only making things worse for him. He finds it hard to live in the house bearing Vidya’s hatred. Vidya doesn’t want Armaan and Abhira to stay in the Poddar house, especially when Ruhi is fulfilling her dreams and giving an heir to the family. Vidya declares that she just has one son, and that’s Rohit. Armaan is heartbroken. Kaveri and Manish feel sorry for Armaan. The family wishes Vidya’s hatred and anger get away sooner. Armaan asks Abhira not to get him more insulted.
He says that she shouldn’t make any attempts from now. He asks her what does she want to prove. He says that she didn’t care about his wishes. He asks her not to make his life a project to accomplish. He tells her that he has a family and Vidya’s love, but he can lose it all because of Abhira’s mistakes. He angrily leaves in the car. Abhira asks him to listen to her once. She follows him in the car. She takes the car ahead. Ruhi comes there and faints in front of the car. The family members rush when they hear Ruhi’s scream.
They get angry with Abhira. Vidya blames Abhira for hitting Ruhi by the car. Rohit rushes Ruhi inside and calls a doctor. Ruhi gives the good news that she is pregnant. The doctor confirms the news and surprises the Poddars. Rohit happily embraces Ruhi. He says that he is really happy. Ruhi gets love from the entire family. He shares the joyful news with Vidya. Armaan and Abhira stay aloof from the celebrations, though they are happy for Rohit and Ruhi entering the phase of parenthood. Everyone congratulates Ruhi.
Manish tells Swarna that he is eager to welcome Ruhi’s baby into the world. Vidya feeds the sweets to Rohit and Ruhi while giving a taunting look to Abhira. Abhira feels bad when Vidya makes her realize the fertility issues. Armaan and Abhira go ahead to congratulate Ruhi. Vidya hinders between Abhira and Ruhi. She doesn’t let Abhira hug Ruhi. Rohit says that Armaan doesn’t look like Taya ji. He compliments Abhira for her kiddish behavior. Vidya’s actions hurt Abhira. Rohit and Ruhi become the prime family members. Vidya gives a head massage to Ruhi and asks if she likes the saree, which she praises. Rohit then requests his turn for a head massage from Vidya. This upsets Armaan and Abhira. Swarna inquires about the food to Manish, who expresses concern for Abhira. He mentions that their marriage seems to be facing difficulties, possibly due to their inability to have children, resulting in them not going on their honeymoon. Abhira attempts to give Armaan a head massage, but he pays no attention. He recalls the strong bond between Vidya and Rohit.
Meanwhile, Abhira can’t help but think about Vidya’s curse. Later, Ruhi and Abhira discuss the topic of rationing. While Rohit showers affection on Ruhi, Abhira hurries away from the scene. In a conversation with Ruhi, Rohit reveals that both Armaan and Abhira are facing difficulties in their personal lives. It seems that Armaan is also causing chaos in the office environment. Armaan reprimands Atul for his inadequate work. Atul, in turn, blames his laptop. In a fit of anger, Armaan breaks the laptop. Abhira tries to offer comfort to Armaan.
However, he reminds her to maintain professionalism and not act like a wife in the office. Despite this, Abhira manages to hold back her tears and bumps into Manish. Curious about her distress, Manish asks about her problem. She confides in him that she has been trying to make Armaan understand but he refuses to listen. Manish encourages her to keep fighting until everything is resolved. Feeling hopeless, Abhira mentions that Akshara’s daughter wouldn’t give up so easily. She adds that she does not possess the same strength as Akshara. Manish continues to console Abhira and assures her that he will support her no matter what happens. Sanjay informs Kaveri of Armaan’s conduct in the workplace.
Kaveri is taken aback by this news. Manisha, Rohit, and others plan to lift Abhira’s spirits. Manisha remarks that Abhira has become dull since getting married. She suggests making her laugh to cheer her up. Despite Abhira’s initial refusal, Manisha, Rohit, and Krish insist on playing games.
Abhira informs Ruhi that Manish has sent kachoris, to which Ruhi expresses gratitude. She suggests sharing them with everyone and Abhira agrees. However, they both realize that there might not be enough for them. To resolve this, Abhira suggests going to Manish’s house and asking for more kachoris. Ruhi then invites everyone to enjoy the kachoris together. As they eat, they share laughs and Ruhi offers the last one to Abhira, who graciously declines and insists it is for her to enjoy. They play the game while Armaan watches on. At one point, Vidya accidentally collides into Armaan and quickly moves away. This catches the attention of Abhira and the others before Armaan also walks away.
Later, Rohit encourages Abhira to start preparations for Vidya’s birthday. Concerned that Vidya may not appreciate the effort, Abhira is hesitant at first. Rohit assures her that Vidya would not want to celebrate without Armaan. Reassured, Abhira decides to go ahead with preparing for Vidya’s special day.
