YRKKH 8th October 2024 Written Update Dramatic revelation. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Manish bows down before Sanjay to apologize, but Ruhi and Abhira intervene, stopping him. Swarna questions Manish’s decision, while Sanjay pretends to be gracious, claiming he has moved on from the past. Abhira and Ruhi defend Manish, emphasizing his self-respect. Meanwhile, Kaveri is puzzled by Manish’s behavior, but Sanjay slyly hints at a surprise that will shock both families.
Krish apologizes to Abhira, but when she asks why, he recalls Sanjay’s offer and decides not to reveal the truth. Abhira then searches for her missing *mangalsutra*. In the meantime, Armaan confesses his love for Abhira, and they pray together. The Poddar family performs an *aarti*, and Vidya becomes emotional watching Armaan. Manish reflects on his efforts to protect Abhira and Ruhi’s relationship, praying they become each other’s strength, not rivals.
Later, Abhira dances for Ruhi. During the event, both the Poddars and the Goenkas are shocked when a picture of Akshara and Arohi is revealed, stunning Manish. It is then that Abhira and Ruhi realize they are cousins, but Sanjay goes further, stating that they are actually sisters. Ruhi is shaken by the revelation, and Sanjay theatrically declares that Abhira has found her family and Manish his lost great-granddaughter, making a show of telling Manish he doesn’t need to thank him.
Abhira emotionally asks Manish if he has known this truth all along, and while she is overjoyed at reuniting with Swarna and Surekha, Ruhi is troubled. Ruhi recalls past events, still in shock, and rejects Abhira as her sister. In a dramatic moment, Ruhi accuses Akshara of killing Arohi, a revelation that delights Sanjay and shocks the Poddar family. Ruhi holds Akshara responsible for Arohi’s death. As emotions run high, Rohit takes Ruhi away, while Armaan stops Abhira from chasing after her. Manish, deeply concerned, fears that his worries about Ruhi and Abhira becoming enemies may be coming true.
Ruhi, in her anger, pushes Abhira and shouts, “You aren’t my sister, you’re the daughter of my mom’s murderer.” She storms off, leaving everyone stunned. Vidya, worried, wonders aloud what will happen to Armaan now. Rohit steps in and urges Armaan to take Abhira away from the situation. However, Armaan stands by Abhira, expressing his trust in her and affirming that her mother was not a murderer.
Abhira, devastated, pleads with Ruhi to talk to her, but Ruhi refuses and asks Rohit to send Abhira away. Rohit once again urges Armaan to take Abhira away, but Armaan remains firm in his decision to support her. Ruhi, filled with resentment, declares that only one of them, either she or Abhira can stay in the house. Vidya sides with Ruhi, further complicating matters. Vidya makes the final mistake that crosses the water over Kaveri’s head. Kaveri decides to burst her anger at Vidya. She gets too upset by the situation. She tells Vidya to leave the house, adding to the family’s turmoil.
