It is soon revealed that Tejas, who had been plotting against Jhanak, kidnaps her during the ride. Anirudh, desperate for any news about Jhanak, grows increasingly frustrated as days pass without updates. Determined to find her, he attempts to leave the house, but his family, including Arshi, Bipasha, and Shrishti, intervene. They try to confuse him, throwing various distractions and reasons to prevent him from going outside, suggesting they know more than they are letting on. Anirudh, however, remains suspicious and restless, feeling helpless in the situation.
Meanwhile, by the bank of a river, a hermit is deep in meditation when he notices a car submerged in the water. Sensing something is wrong, he calls for help, and soon, with the assistance of others and a crane, the car is pulled out of the river. Inside the car, they find the unconscious body of Jhanak. The people gathered try to revive her, but she remains unresponsive. The hermit then requests a nearby newspaper reporter to take a photograph of Jhanak and spread the news of the accident, hoping her family will come forward to claim her. Jhanak is taken into the hermit’s hut to be cared for while they await a response to the news report.
At the same time, Anirudh, Aditya, Choton, and Lalan arrive at the police station to file a missing person report. Anirudh is visibly distressed, feeling the weight of not knowing Jhanak’s fate. Choton, ever suspicious, proposes the idea that Tejas could be behind Jhanak’s disappearance. He suggests they find proof of whether Tejas is actually in Kolkata at that moment. Aditya, too, supports this theory, providing logical reasons why Tejas might be involved. Anirudh takes some solace in the fact that if Tejas is indeed behind it, the police will eventually catch him, giving him hope that the investigation will bear fruit. Aditya promises to do everything in his power to uncover the truth and find Jhanak. Choton, however, casts another doubt, suspecting Shrishti Mukherjee might also have a hand in the situation.
Back at home, after returning from the police station, Choton bluntly announces to the family that there is still no news of Jhanak. He subtly hints at Shrishti Mukherjee, implying that she might know something but isn’t saying it. Bipasha seizes the opportunity to further damage Jhanak’s reputation by insinuating that Jhanak has likely run off with another man, implying she is of questionable character. This remark enrages Anirudh, who cannot hold back his emotions anymore. He roars in defense of Jhanak, adamantly refuting Bipasha’s claims. Arshi, shocked by the intensity of Anirudh’s reaction, questions why he is so concerned about Jhanak, to which Anirudh makes a startling confession—he declares his love for Jhanak openly in front of the entire family. This confession leaves everyone in shock, especially Arshi.
Anirudh doesn’t stop there; he goes on to compare Jhanak and Arshi, criticizing Arshi for neglecting him and his health as a wife, while praising Jhanak for always caring about him. His words cut deep, and Arshi is visibly shaken. Anirudh, still fuming, aligns himself with Choton, especially when Choton is humiliated in front of the family for his suspicions. Anirudh believes that if Jhanak is in any kind of danger, it could spell disaster for keeping the family together. His concerns and suspicions about Jhanak’s safety seem to hint that someone within the family might be involved in her disappearance.
As the conversation intensifies, Aditya points fingers at Shrishti Mukherjee, suspecting her as the mastermind behind Jhanak’s disappearance. This accusation sends Arshi into a rage, as she fiercely defends her mother, refusing to allow anyone to speak ill of her. The tension in the room builds as Anirudh struggles to control his anger. He feels torn between his loyalty to his family and his overwhelming concern for Jhanak. Pressured by the entire family, Shrishti is forced to call Tejas, hoping to clear her name. Tejas, however, claims to be in Kashmir at that moment, throwing another wrench into their investigation. Despite the phone call, Anirudh is left with no concrete proof linking either Tejas or Shrishti to Jhanak’s disappearance, leaving him even more frustrated and desperate to uncover the truth. The situation becomes more convoluted, with everyone playing their part in hiding or revealing pieces of information, but Anirudh remains determined to find Jhanak, vowing to rescue her by any means necessary.
