YRKKH 17th October 2024 Written Update Abhira’s dilemma. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Abhira, sensing Armaan’s rising frustration, pleads with him not to get angry. However, Armaan expresses his internal conflict, stating that when a man is faced with a choice, he often chooses a baby over his wife, implying that the baby is becoming a priority. Abhira, understanding his struggle, responds by saying that such decisions can also be tough for the husband. Her attempt at understanding offends Armaan, and his frustration grows. Abhira continues to try to calm him down.
Just then, Krish arrives and asks Armaan to take care of Kaveri’s discharge paperwork. Abhira encourages Armaan to go, but his suspicions are aroused, and he asks her if she’s hiding something from him. Abhira reassures him and urges him to stop doubting her. Armaan, still feeling uneasy, reminds her that whenever they hide things from each other, misunderstandings arise. Though Abhira tries to soothe his concerns, deep inside, she decides to keep her pregnancy a secret, believing Armaan won’t understand at this moment. As the conversation ends, Manish steps in, advising Abhira to relax and not take stress, assuring her that Kaveri is fine now.
Meanwhile, Madhav tries to comfort Kaveri, urging her to relax. Vidya offers to take care of Kaveri, but Kaveri flatly refuses help from Vidya and Manisha, instead choosing Kajal to look after her. Manisha, feeling hurt, whispers to Vidya that Kaveri’s cold attitude toward them is likely because of Abhira. This frustrates Vidya, and she becomes angry.
While dealing with her internal struggles, Abhira starts to think about her future. Worried about her pregnancy and the complications it could bring, she makes up her mind to resolve everything for the sake of her unborn baby. She contemplates that both Armaan and the baby might be better off without her presence in their lives. Caught in her thoughts, Armaan snaps her back to reality, telling her to stop dreaming about an impossible future. He shockingly admits that he doesn’t want the baby, leaving Abhira completely stunned and heartbroken by his words.
Elsewhere, Sanjay, concerned about family matters, asks Kajal to speak with Kaveri regarding Charu’s wedding. However, Kajal feels nervous and unsure about how to approach the topic. Back with Armaan and Abhira, the tension escalates as Abhira tries to apologize for the earlier conversation, but Armaan stops her again, asking if she’s hiding anything from him. Abhira, trying to ease the situation, urges him to stop overthinking. However, things take a sudden turn when Abhira vomits, alarming Armaan. He immediately panics and insists on calling a doctor, but Abhira tries to reassure him, saying it’s nothing serious. Despite her words, Armaan remains worried about her health. Abhira, determined to not let her condition affect her responsibilities, decides to go to the temple to pray for Kaveri’s recovery and well-being.
As the drama unfolds, Vidya and Manisha feed Ruhi a sweet dish – Kheer, and Abhira learns that the kheer prepared by Vidya is good for babies. This revelation piques Abhira’s interest, and she decides that she wants to eat some, believing that it will bring blessings to her unborn child. Meanwhile, Kajal finally gathers the courage to speak with Kaveri about Charu’s wedding. Kaveri asks Charu if she is genuinely ready for marriage and emphasizes the importance of maintaining the family’s reputation. Charu, following Kajal’s advice, listens quietly. When Abhira enters the scene, Kajal quickly changes the subject to avoid any awkwardness.
Back in the kitchen, Ruhi accidentally spills some kheer, but Manisha and Vidya reassure her that there’s more prepared. Abhira, eager to eat the kheer for the sake of her baby, begins to serve herself some. However, her actions catch the attention of Manisha, Vidya, and Ruhi, who teasingly call her greedy for eating it. Abhira is taken aback by their mocking comments, feeling hurt and shocked that they would speak to her that way, especially in such a sensitive time for her.
