YRKKH 20th October 2024 Written Update News for Armaan. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Armaan confides in Kaveri, expressing his frustration that Abhira is lying to him. He feels betrayed and questions her motives. Sensing his turmoil, Kaveri asks him a simple yet profound question: does he truly love Abhira? Armaan, overwhelmed by his emotions, admits that he cannot imagine his life without her. Despite his anger, his love for Abhira is unwavering. Kaveri, trying to calm Armaan, gently explains that Abhira wouldn’t lie without a significant reason. She believes that something must be deeply troubling Abhira, making her hide the truth. Armaan feels conflicted, accusing Kaveri of siding with Abhira, but Kaveri responds calmly, saying she supports Abhira because she understands her situation.
Amid this conversation, Armaan apologizes to Kaveri on behalf of Vidya for her recent actions. Kaveri brushes it off, calling Vidya’s behavior foolish, and says she will wait until Vidya sees reason and returns to a better path.
Meanwhile, Abhira is in emotional turmoil. She feels guilty for hiding the truth from Armaan and fears that she is hurting him. The weight of her secret—her pregnancy—becomes unbearable, and she resolves to reveal it to Armaan. As she contemplates how and when to tell him, Armaan grows increasingly anxious, unaware of her decision. Elsewhere, Sanjay is having a conversation with Charu, praising her for agreeing to marry Neeraj. Manoj and Manisha gift Charu an expensive present to celebrate the occasion, but Charu hesitates, pointing out that the gift is too costly. Manisha proudly mentions that Manoj is earning now, justifying the lavish gift. However, Sanjay interjects, explaining that Manoj has joined a rival firm, and therefore, he cannot accept the gift. This causes some tension in the family, and Vidya remarks that arguments among the Poddars began as soon as the guests left. Kaveri steps in, blaming Vidya for causing the fights, and directs Manisha to start preparing for Karwa Chauth.
During the preparations, Charu questions why it’s always the wives who keep fasts and not the husbands. Kaveri responds, saying that such a fast should come from the heart, implying that it’s a matter of personal choice and not tradition alone.
On the other hand, Abhira reflects on her situation, feeling unable to make a joyful announcement about her pregnancy due to the complexities surrounding it. She decides that Karwa Chauth will be the right time to tell Armaan. Vidya, too, begins preparing for the festival, while Ruhi becomes determined to keep the fast, even though her husband, Rohit, opposes it.
Sanjay becomes furious with Krish for supporting Manoj, leading to a heated exchange. Kiara and Aryan are equally upset with Charu for not accepting Manoj’s gift, and Charu tries to defend her decision, feeling caught in the middle of the family conflict. In a quiet moment, she talks to Neeraj, who tells her that she can keep the fast for him if she wants to, subtly leaving the decision up to her.
Amidst all the preparations, Kajal informs Kaveri that Vidya has not given any gifts to Abhira, which raises concerns. Vidya, meanwhile, feeds Ruhi, and when Ruhi asks her to eat too, Vidya explains that she hasn’t received her sargi from Kaveri yet. Soon after, Kaveri distributes gifts to Manisha and Vidya, and surprisingly, also gives a gift to Abhira. This shocks both Vidya and Ruhi, as they hadn’t expected Abhira to receive anything.
Towards the end of the episode, Armaan shows his love and care for Abhira by helping her eat, suggesting that despite their issues, their bond remains strong. However, the precap teases an emotional twist as Armaan learns about Abhira’s risky pregnancy, hinting at even more challenges ahead for the couple.
