He agrees happily. Anshuman and Varun learn that Preeta loves Kavya more than her life. Anshuman says that they will first kidnap Kavya and then Preeta. Varun sees Kavya. Nidhi tells Aarohi that it’s Preeta’s last night and she will be dying at all costs. How will Karan protect Preeta this time?
Meanwhile, Kritika arrives at the house and is delighted to see the Mata Rani idol, praying for her family’s reunion. Kavya greets Kritika, and they discuss the special outfits Kritika has brought for everyone. Preeta encourages Dadi to stay positive, helps her sit, and gives her water. Karan notices this, and Mahesh teasingly asks him what he’s looking at. Karan tries to hide that he was watching Preeta. Mahesh points out that, although Preeta doesn’t remember anything, her actions show that her memories live in her heart. Nidhi overhears their conversation and thinks Karan looks at Preeta like a teenager. She decides that today will be the end of Preeta’s chapter and heads towards Arohi.
Meanwhile, Anshuman asks Varun why he called him. Varun shows him Kavya and explains that Kavya is Preeta’s weak spot, so targeting her would weaken Preeta. Varun suggests kidnapping Kavya first before going after Preeta, and Anshuman agrees.
Varun later asks Rajveer if he’s happy in the Luthra House. Rajveer says he is because he’s with his family, but he can’t tolerate Shaurya. Varun notes how different Rajveer and Shaurya are, despite being siblings. Rajveer asks Varun not to mention Shaurya if they want to stay happy.
Karan tells Rakhi that although he hasn’t done puja in many years, today he wants to do it with Preeta. Rakhi smiles, saying he has changed, and Karan expresses his desire to live happily with Preeta. Rakhi promises to make sure he performs the puja with Preeta. Nidhi and Aarohi overhear this. Nidhi is upset and vows that Karan won’t perform the puja with Preeta. Kareena, also overhearing, feels bad for Nidhi and wonders why she hasn’t reacted yet. She worries that Preeta’s presence always brings problems
Nidhi vents to Aarohi, saying no one cares about her despite her love for Karan. She complains that Karan refused to do puja with her for years, yet now he wants to do it with Preeta. Later, Palki and Shanaya ask Dadi to tell the story of Dussehra. Dadi asks them to gather the other youngsters, so Shanaya brings Shaurya and Sunny, while Palki brings Rajveer and Mohit. Dadi tells them a story, emphasizing that good always triumphs over evil. Shaurya leaves abruptly, followed by Shanaya. Kareena takes Dadi aside to talk. Meanwhile, Rajveer searches for something, and when Palki asks what he needs, he says water. Palki offers to get it for him.
Kareena expresses to Dadi her sympathy for Nidhi, who she feels is being neglected despite all she has done for the family. She worries that Nidhi might cause a scene. Dadi, tired of Nidhi’s constant drama, disagrees, saying she can’t support Nidhi over Preeta. However, Kareena insists on supporting Nidhi, and Dadi reluctantly agrees, as she has in the past.
Shaurya stares at the effigy of Ravan, and Shanaya comments on its massive size. Shaurya says he likes Ravan and considers him an admirable figure. Shanaya warns him that Ravan should not be his idol, but Shaurya argues that Ravan waited for Sita’s permission after kidnapping her, adding that he wouldn’t have done the same. Shanaya is shocked as Shaurya expresses his admiration for Ravan-type characters, revealing that he sees himself in them and intends to act like Ravan.
