Abhira, desperate for reconciliation, asks him for a chance to explain herself, but Armaan’s response takes a shocking turn. He coldly challenges her to prove her trust by jumping off the table, a dangerous and irrational demand. Abhira is taken aback, immediately thinking of the baby she’s carrying, and the risk it would pose. Sensing her hesitation, Armaan becomes more agitated, accusing her of hiding something from him.
In frustration, he declares that he no longer cares to know the truth. Abhira, trying to ease the tension, urges him to at least break his fast. In a dramatic display, Armaan grabs a bottle of chili sauce and drinks it, punishing himself as Abhira tries frantically to calm him down, but her efforts seem in vain.
