As Neel leaves the Oberoi mansion, he accidentally bumps into Shalu, dropping a set of papers. Shalu apologizes and reaches down to help, but Neel quickly snatches them and hurries away. Nine days later, Neelam is visibly upset, scolding Master Ji over the phone for not delivering her clothes on time. Aanchal notices and inquires, while Malishka overhears and volunteers to go pick up the clothes herself.
Rishi finds Lakshmi in the kitchen, preparing sweets for the family in anticipation of the festivities. When he praises her culinary skills, Lakshmi modestly insists her mother was the true master of making sweets. She recalls how her father only ate sweets made by her mother, reminiscing about her family’s love. Rishi, clearly touched, tells her that he, too, only wants sweets made by his wife.
In the meantime, Sonal approaches Malishka, showing off her outfit and receiving compliments. Malishka suddenly gets an idea, mentioning that they could exploit Master Ji’s well-known greed to their advantage. With a mischievous glint, she and Sonal set off to put their plan into motion.

Rishi shares with Lakshmi that he and his father both love her very much. Soon after, Mukesh urgently calls Rishi, saying Karishma has gotten into a heated argument with Ayush. Rishi and Lakshmi head over to find out what’s happening. Harleen steps in and asks Karishma what the issue is. Karishma complains that Ayush didn’t follow her request to get large firecrackers and instead bought smaller ones. Harleen, surprised that they argued over such a minor thing, downplays the matter and encourages everyone to get back to work. Neelam leaves with Karishma after this exchange.
In another part of the house, Anushka confronts Neel about not signing some important papers. Neel reveals that he now wants more money before he agrees to sign. Anushka reminds him that she already paid him the amount they had agreed on, but he remains adamant, insisting on a higher payment. Frustrated, Anushka cuts the call but quickly realizes the potential risks if Neel acts against her, so she calls him back to apologize. Neel, now more confident in his bargaining position, tells her he will come to her house to discuss the terms further.
Meanwhile, Malishka approaches Master Ji with a secret task. She promises him a substantial payment if he can plant something in Lakshmi’s clothes discreetly. Tempted by the promise of money, Master Ji agrees to take on the task without asking too many questions.
Elsewhere, Lakshmi asks her sister Shalu to help with the Diwali decorations, and Shalu readily agrees. Lakshmi then brings up Karwa Chauth, asking Shalu what had happened on that day. Shalu promises to explain everything later and assures Lakshmi she will tell her the details the next day.
As the preparations for Diwali continue, Mukesh consults Karishma and Aanchal for guidance on the Pooja decorations. They tell him to replicate what was done last time but question why he’s asking for advice in the first place. Neelam overhears and intervenes, suggesting that they make the decorations even better this time. She scolds Mukesh for not coming directly to her for instructions. Karishma and Aanchal apologize, and Neelam takes charge, giving Mukesh detailed directions on how she wants the decorations handled.
Malishka soon returns with the clothes from Master Ji and hands them to Neelam. Neelam distributes Diwali dresses to Aanchal, Karishma, Malishka, and Sonal. She then goes to Harleen and gives her a dress, followed by a visit to Lakshmi’s room, where she gifts her a dress as well. Harleen, noticing the gesture, tells Neelam that Lakshmi had just mentioned how her own mother used to gift her a new dress for Diwali, adding a sentimental touch to the moment. After Neelam leaves, Harleen encourages Lakshmi to see this gift as a positive step towards a fresh start with Neelam.
Later, Rishi visits Lakshmi, noticing that she seems pleased yet reserved. He encourages her to openly express her happiness rather than hiding it. Lakshmi admits that this is the first time Neelam has ever gifted her anything, even though she didn’t do so for Karwa Chauth. Rishi listens and reassures her, sharing a quiet moment of understanding before he leaves.
