Ashika presents herself as a mother concerned about her son’s recent struggles in adapting to a new school environment, which has impacted his grades. Hoping to improve Kian’s academic performance, she plans to hire a private tutor. However, as she introduces Milind to her son, it becomes clear that she does not recognize him from a past incident.
Milind, on the other hand, feels hesitant about taking up the tutoring position without consulting Savi and Rajat. Ashika reassures him that payment isn’t an issue, only that he should focus on raising Kian’s marks. Although Milind politely deflects by saying he’s just here to meet them, his mind is still preoccupied with his recent suspension, which leaves him unsettled.
As Milind steps outside, he runs into Rajat, who notices his distraction and asks him what he was doing there. Milind confides in Rajat, explaining his dilemma: he needs the job but feels uncomfortable teaching Kian due to his unresolved issues with Ashika. Rajat urges him to take the job, pointing out that he wants Kian to have a strong male influence, especially as their father-son relationship is strained. Rajat even expresses his envy of the bond Milind shares with Vansh, showing his inner struggles with connection and fatherhood. Later, Milind shares his decision with Savi, who surprisingly supports his choice. Savi believes that if Milind tutors Kian, it might help repair the strained relationship between Rajat and his son.
