Ranvijay reflects on his unreciprocated love for Vaiju, feeling that his emotions held no value for her. Meanwhile, Kaveri urges Jaya to get ready, intending to drop her somewhere, but Jaya, disinterested and frustrated, refuses. Their conversation turns tense as Kaveri’s attempts to engage are met with annoyance. On the other hand, Ragini remains preoccupied with the fallout of Vaiju and Ranvijay’s situation. Rao Saheb, concerned about family harmony, expresses hope that Vasundhara can convince Jaya to return home.
Nagraj shares his sympathy for Vaiju, revealing that she blames herself for the chaos and is even avoiding college. While Sulekha sarcastically commends Vaiju for finally making a wise decision, Ragini defends her, arguing that Vaiju is not at fault. Sulekha, however, points out that Vaiju should have already left their house, given her sister is no longer around. Ragini promises to address this matter herself. Meanwhile, Vasundhara tries to reason with Jaya, encouraging her to return home. Jaya, however, argues that managing a household is a shared responsibility between husband and wife, expressing her frustration over her one-sided efforts.
Kaveri then visits the Mohite Patil household, expressing disappointment in Ranvijay and his family. She accuses Ranvijay of neglecting Jaya, noting that he neither visited nor called her during their separation. Rao Saheb informs Kaveri that Vasundhara has gone to bring Jaya back home. Sulekha, once again, shifts the blame to Vaiju, holding her accountable for Jaya’s distress. Ranvijay steps in to defend Vaiju, asking Sulekha to stop scapegoating her. However, Kaveri confronts Ranvijay directly about his treatment of Jaya, to which he refuses to respond, claiming it’s a private matter between husband and wife.
When Vaiju attempts to intervene, Kaveri silences her and demands answers about her involvement in the household issues, particularly the “vermillion incident,” which Sulekha had mentioned earlier. Ragini tries to defend Vaiju, but Kaveri takes Vaiju’s hand and insists she leave for Nandi Patan. Ranvijay intervenes, reiterating that Vaiju is not to blame and explaining that she resides with them only to pursue her education. Kaveri, however, insinuates that Vaiju’s presence is the root of Jaya’s decision to leave.
Meanwhile, Jaya tells Vasundhara she needs more time before returning home. The two share an emotional hug before Vasundhara leaves. Upon returning home, Vasundhara, visibly upset, asserts that the fault lies with Ranvijay, not Jaya. Sulekha seizes the opportunity to once again blame Vaiju, claiming that even Kaveri agrees. Vasundhara confronts Ranvijay, demanding that he bring Jaya back. Ranvijay admits that he alone is to blame, emphasizing that Jaya has done nothing wrong. He reveals that he deeply respects Jaya and that their decision to take a break was to shield her from daily disrespect.
Ranvijay confesses that he has been hiding a significant truth from Jaya, effectively betraying her trust. He acknowledges his mistakes and resolves to disclose the truth to Jaya before convincing her to return home.
