Maati Se Bandhi Dor brings a shocking twist with Jaya’s suicide. In Maati Se Bandhi Dor written update today, Ragini gifts Vaiju a saree, encouraging her to wear it for the upcoming award ceremony. However, Vaiju refuses to attend the function. Sulekha taunts Vaiju, blaming her for the growing distance between Rana and Jaya. Vasundhara also accuses Vaiju, claiming that she is the reason behind the rift between the couple. Ragini tries to defend Vaiju, but Sulekha’s taunts grow harsher, even suggesting that Vaiju should go and live in a hostel if she wants to wear vermillion. Despite Ragini’s attempts to stand up for Vaiju, Vasundhara scolds her.
Later, a staff member from the education ministry arrives with a bouquet and an invitation for Vaiju. Although Vaiju thanks him, she expresses that she will not be able to attend the ceremony. However, Rao Saheb insists that she cannot just give up and announces that the entire family will attend the function. Meanwhile, Jaya, feeling emotionally devastated, reflects on how Rannvijay seems to understand Vaiju in ways she never could. She sees the entire family celebrating Vaiju’s success and feels as if all her happiness has been taken away from her. Jaya is heartbroken, sensing that her husband has lost interest in her, and she struggles to accept that her own sister and husband would treat her this way.

Jaya decides that she needs to accept the situation and that ending the suffering is the only option left for her. Later that night, Ragini confronts Rannvijay, questioning why he isn’t attending the ceremony. When he refuses, Ragini points out how hurt Vaiju will be if he doesn’t show up. She tries to convince him not to spoil Vaiju’s special day, acknowledging that he is caught between his love for Jaya and his responsibilities. The entire village gathers at Kaveri’s place, bringing gifts and praising Vaiju for receiving the award.
Jaya arrives at Kaveri’s house, and Kaveri invites her for tea. Kaveri mentions that Rannvijay wanted to come and take her to the ceremony, but Jaya insisted he go to Vaiju’s function instead. Kaveri questions why Jaya is so affected by Rannvijay’s actions, to which Jaya responds that Vaiju has triumphed over all obstacles. She urges Kaveri to attend the function as well, emphasizing how important this day is for Vaiju. Though Kaveri hesitates, Jaya convinces her by swearing an oath.
Vaiju, meanwhile, is emotional, reflecting on how Jaya is more important to her than any award. She wishes she could make Jaya understand how much it pains her to see her like this. Determined to restore their relationship, Vaiju vows to bring Jaya back and mend things between them.
At the award ceremony, Vaiju is asked to sit separately, and she keeps looking around for someone. Kaveri then arrives at the event and explains that Jaya sent her. Vaiju, still feeling the void, expresses how much she misses Jaya. Ragini reassures her that Rannvijay will be coming soon, but Vaiju’s longing for Jaya is evident. The ceremony continues, but it’s clear that Vaiju’s heart is not in the celebration, as she wishes for the family bonds to heal. Jaya waits for Ranvijay. She commits suicide when she fails to accept Ranvijay and Vaiju’s relationship. She decides to leave from their lives.
