While Rajat helps Ashika tie the seat belt, they appear like kissing when Savi sees them from behind. Savi cries and thinks of Rajat’s lies.
Ashika is happy to get Rajat’s attention. Rajat later brings Ashika home. He carries her in his arms when she complains of a foot injury. Savi is left stunned to see Ashika entering his life again. As seen in the last episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Ashika finally breaks down and confesses to Rajat that the accident was a mistake and that she never intended to harm Isha. Kian continues to beg Rajat, saying he can’t live if his mother is jailed. Savi reassures Isha that Rajat will keep his promise and bring justice. Isha agrees to the plan. Rajat, in a rare moment of compassion, tells Kian that he won’t report Ashika’s involvement to the police, asking him not to worry anymore. Both Ashika and Kian feel a sense of relief, knowing they have escaped the consequences—at least for now.

Isha is scared by reading the fortune cookie prediction. She doesn’t want a storm to hit Savi’s life. She shares her fears with Savi. Savi comforts her. Ashika hugs Rajat and apologizes to him. She says that she can’t live without Kian. Rajat doesn’t care for Ashika, but he can’t see Kian in sorrow. He says that he can do anything for Kian. He promises to support her. Savi asks Isha not to worry, she can handle any storm until she has her family with her.
Rajat breaks the hug and walks away. Ashika is in tears. Rajat goes home and is afraid of facing Savi. He remembers his promise to Savi. He isn’t able to punish Arsh and Ashika. He goes to Bhosle’s house. He meets Savi and her family. He tells them that Jigar and Arsh aren’t involved in Isha’s accident. He lies to them. Savi shows her faith in Rajat. He feels guilty of lying to them.
Isha asks Rajat why is he crying. She thanks him for all the care. She misses Ishaan. She tells him that he has become her son now, and she is okay if the culprit doesn’t get punished. She relieves his tension. Milind says that Isha never called him a son. He compliments Rajat for winning Isha’s trust so soon. Rajat feels sorry and leaves. Savi finds him disturbed. Rajat isolates himself. He wants to apologize to Savi and her family.
Savi reaches Rajat and pacifies him. She asks him not to stress so much. Her faith makes him feel more guilty. She asks him to forward his hand. She ties a thread to his wrist and tells him that she trusts him more than herself. She says that she likes his protective nature. She is sure that he will never break her trust. She is happy that he treats her family equally as his family.
She asks him why is he still upset. She wonders if he is hiding something. Rajat hides the matter from her. He says that he is worried about Kian. She asks him to leave his tensions and come to dine with the family. Rajat asks her to go. He doesn’t want Savi to trust him so much. Savi comes up with a dance performance to cheer him up. Rajat too dances along and she succeeds in making him smile.
